lap timer questions.

OK, so i gots me a new XT laptimer from Jim.. THANKS!!

now i was looking at the Ultra-Lap.com website and i'm wondering how in the world you download the lap times onto your computer..

...and I think you need a special, sold-separately cable (I never bought one...)

ahh ok.. i was looking on there site and i dont' see anything.. but then agian i think a 5 year old designed there site.

Is the cable just a regular old USB cable? You can go to Best Buy and get one if it is just USB.

Some other advice

By the way it is not just a USB cable it has a special led receviver on it the transaltes to a serial device. BY the wayit is not very intuitive to do the download. On the front of the ap timer there is a very small little hole that you lign up the USB receiver with. There is a big loed on the left side of the lap timer and you can hold the receiver tyhere all day and it will never download. I felt like an idiot after trying for a couple of hours then reading the doc more carefully DOH!!!!!

Been dere done dat dis dere and de udder ting. OH and whatnot
