they can be powered for SCCA DSR (sports racer)with 1000cc motors and CSR, hayabusa 1300 cc. we are interested in the CSR class, as i am a busa owner. faster around Road America than the Superbikes

Very very cool, JR. Those in-car videos look insane. Imagine how the driver feels. You know that when you get one you will have to take me for ride in it. BTW, what's the price for one of those bad boys?

You're right, that price doesn't seem that bad when you look at what you are getting, your own badass race car !!

They're very cool, but probably not the car to have if you want to be nationally competitve with them in SCCA DSR or CSR.

Also, local racing with them isn't that great, because very few DSR & CSR racers show up at most regionals. Big on the coasts, but light here in the midwest.

loudes13, we are looking at buying Stohr's
see http://www.stohr.com they are about 55K. Stohr will have a two seater in the spring so that we can give macius3 a ride. additionally, the Stohrs are faster than the Radicals and if you visit www.scca.com , you will find that the Stohr DSR (D sports racer) is the national champion the last 3 years (including last weekend at the runoffs in Ohio) we flew to Ohio for the day to see the first day of qualifying. we are specifically interested in the C sports racer powered by my favorite motorcycle motor from the hayabusa. unfortunately, the factory Stohr CSR broke a timing chain and had a DNF. just as well because the two fastest CSR's are formula 5000's with fenders. kind of a joke but scca legal. anyway, a bunch of go cart racing buddies and i are thinking about our own little race series and that's why we visited autobahn racetrack on sunday.
Quick Study, at road america they will probably run 150 or 160, which is top end. hell, my track bikes have more top end, but it's the corners where they really fly.

These are also cool and the 962 is Yamaha powered and "only" $32,500.

Now the 962R sounds like it really flys.
