American Supercamp - 4/15/05

I just signed up for Danny Walker's American Supercamp in Greenville, KY on Thursday and Friday, March 24-25, 2005.

Anybody interested in sharing the ride and/or splitting a room, let me know! Plan is to drive down sometime Wednesday afternoon and head home on Friday night.

Huh, why not Springfield?

And Ofugit, I thought you were a convert? Come on, one more time and you are an official "Retread". Or was that a Retar... Shoot I forgot, I think if I go this year it will be 4 or 5 in a row.

I'd really love to go, but I'm going to be between jobs in April and just can't quite afford it.

You guys are going to have a blast, I"m jealous.

HRCA membership (with towing) is something like $35 and gets you a $50 Discount off the Supercamp price.

Jim:

May 27-28 "non-racer"
May 29-30 "racer"

I was half thinking about missing this one as I've been there 4 times in a row. That makes me a re-re-retread. Or really retarded. Knowing me, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure to enroll. It's just good for the soul. Let me know if you are serious, maybe we can split a ride.

TTYL,

Bruce

I wish I could do the May date, but it conflicts with a CCS weekend.

Too bad, it's the best camp in the midwest. The IL mile is that weekend and is walking distance. We always take a break and go to see the finals and cheer for Chris and Murphy. Plus we get visiting racers to mess around with.

HRCA membership is $30 and saves you $50.. Hmm. $550 to spend two days beating the piss out of somebody else's bike. And I have the gear I need.. hmm.

I'm seriously thinking about it. But since I don't fall into the "racer" camp, I'd probably wait and do the May Non-racer camp. in IL.

Yeah, you missed the stinky beat up stuff from the old days.

Bad News - and Good News!!!

Just got off the phone with Danny Walker - they're looking to cancel the March date in Greenville because it conflicts with a date they just secured in Seattle.

On the plus side, I was able to switch my reservation to the April dates at Harrington, Delaware. Which in a way is even cooler, because now I can squeeze in some quality time with my Mom and stepdad! Plus, the knowledge gained will be even fresher in my mind when we head up to Road America for the CCS season opener the following weekend!
