good source for custom leathers.

have you guys heard of Elitewears.com they custom make suits starting at around $650.00 thought I would ask if you guys have heard of it or have ordered from them. I sent an email on friday night and got an answer today. not bad service. for this kinda price I am thinking hard about it.

Seems like a good price. Maybe they can send contact info on a customer or two to get feedback from them, or a sample?

+1 on BB he is a great guy and supports the sport. He puts out a great product and I have never heard one bad thing said about him or his product. I have been very satisfied with his service.

Since you're shopping around I must put in a plug for Syed Leathers. Check them out at www.syedleathers.com . They have a low "starting" price like the other places, and will get you your suit in about 6 weeks. I had one made over the winter and I'm very satisfied.

Yeah, with Syed I ordered their catalog, filled out the form, had my gf take the measurements and sent it in. 3 days later I got a call from them. They just wanted me to know that they got the order, it looks good and they will have the suit ready in a few weeks. When the suit was done they called again and said it was finished and that they were sending it out.

Very professional. I liked the calls so I knew what was going on. It wasn't like I sent them an order, a picture of what I wanted the suit to look like, and a check and hoped I would get what I want.

I visited Syed while in Orlando during Biketoberfest. They measured me on the spot and were very helpful with explaining what I needed. The suit arrived before Thanksgiving and has held up very, very well (going on 4 years). If you don't have the coin for a Vanson, then Syed would be my recommendation.

Barnacle Bills is one of the best. Vanson is the best. Expensive but great quality leathers with the best stiching, fitment and armor. You will love either suit!

Are we there yet?

Try Trophy Leather in Naperville on Ogden. I got my Vanson coat from them and I plan on pickup a pair of Vanson pants this spring. They sell/order custom suits and pretty comparable pricing.

A BIG +1 to that post! I have Vanson and it's custom fit plus protection is second to none! (I have heard a lot of good stuff about barnacle Bills too!)
