Mid america is about 10 hrs west of chicago.
Autobahn is in the chicago area
Blackhawk Farms is 2 hrs west of chicago
Road America 3 hours north (closes track the pros use) of chicago
Gingerman 2-3 hrs east of chicago
Gratten 4 hrs (guess) of chicago
Putnam Park 3 hrs southeast of chicago
Mid Ohio (is a cluster fuck IMO. I wont set foot inside that place after the way the security treated me in 88) about 8 hrs east of chicago

Brainerd International Raceway must be about 10 hours from Chicago too, and this will be the last year to ride North America's fastest turn one.

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

Officially or speculative? Some developer bought the track to make condos out of it or the current owners just gonna shut down until they sell the land?
