Cool pics, Jeff. Did you get any of you out on the track?

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I could NOT believe how stable the chassis was, mid corner brakes/ shifts, point the thing where ever I wanted. It was FUN! You couldn't get the thing to unsettle. Friday I was running around in the 1:32's, Saturday I was able to hit 1:28's and sunday I started to get the hang of the thing and dropped into the 1:26's. No still pics, I'll have video up here this week.

everyone that uses "maintance" as an excuse not to buy a 125 has never worked on a 125! Dude, gas tank is held on with one clip! fairings are held on with 4 clips, thats right "clips" not even quarter turns, no tools required! >2 minutes to rejet the carb! >5 minutes to change the cylinder head! >30 minutes for a complete top end rebuild! cartridge transmission that pops out in minutes so you can interchange individual gears. Oh, maybe I could use a little shorter third gear, can you say sweet!

So what did you think of Jennings? I love that place, they have top notch facilities. I like the little concrete pads they have for pit areas. The track itself is really cool for smaller bikes, that front straight isn't long enough for guys to just power it by you and be out of sight before turn one. Also how did you wind up doing on the back section that double apex left hander where it tightens up on the second part of it?

I loved that tracks, its now one of my favorites. I was geared 15/37. Almost topped out 5th on the front, down two for turn one, Topped out 6th though the back section, rolled off the throttle just before T3, downshifted 2 between T4 and T5, Clicked down one more between T5 and T6, went almost all the way to the outside before throwing it into T6, wide open, rolled back a little for T7, down shift one for T8, (T7-T10 made them big swooping turns) After T10 stayed to the outside and roller back the throttle just a little for T11, almost topped out 5th gear before T13, grab alot of brake down two for T13, upshift one, up shift again mid T14.

JGP is an awesomne track.. figure they have a trackday everyweekend for 105$ if you preregister.. the straights are not too bad.. just enough to wind out 3rd.. the back section tho is a blast... with several lines to pick from you can hone in your skills in every aspect... and of course turn 8 is where I ate shit... I want to hit JGP before I leave from down here.. but if all else fails I'll have to hit Lil Tally soon... now that track imo sucks.. really short.. kinda plain... the only only good turn at that place is the decreasing/increasing radius turn...

Sounds like you had a good time. I hit jennings about a month ago. A friend from Detriot rented out the track like he does a couple of times a year and we have a blast. we limit the amount of riders that sign up to 25 so you get a shit load of track time and don't have to worry about alot if any crashes with alot of the traffic. I love the track I just wish the 14 hour drive was cut in half .

LBK..remember our plan involving Steve's 125? I'm thinking if we make a big cardboard cutout and put it in his garage, he'd never know. Naturally, since your garage has basement/watercraft/2000 dirtbikes, it'd have to stay at my garage.

Dude, that thing looks like so much fun to ride!
