these pit bull stands are worth the money!

got them in today, man these boys are sturdy.

but i tell yeah it took me a while to learn the trick to get the front in and out, i almost threw the stand across the garage before i called and they told me try this trick, and as they say once you figure it out, your golden.

anyway here she is on stands.

Pitbulls Rock. I just need to get another front stand, the regular one that goes under the the bottom of the forks.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

well as soon as you get the tip of the pin in the hole, "mine WONT just go right on in" pretend your going to lift her up in the air, but instead your just giving it some up and down pressure "rocking the handle back and forth, letting it work up in there" then BANG she is in, and up she goes.

what i noticed with my bike is with the rear stand holding the back and i now lowered the front, i CANT get the pin to drop all the way out, so i give it a slight up pull on the handel bar, and then she falls out.

i guess it what i have to do for my bike for it to work.

I just ordered a set of these today; hopefully they'll get here by the weekend so I can remove the front wheel and get the tire replaced. I figure about 12 tire changes and the stands will have paid for themselves in wheel removal costs.

One note, I ordered them direct from PitBull and the webpage didn't work, so I called up and did it over the phone and they gave me free shipping for my troubles
2 thumbs up so far!

its not just for wheel swaps that they are convenient. great for chain lubing, oil changes, storage, or any bike maintenance at all!!!! I love my pit bulls, they rule!

Yeah, that's half I reason I can't wait for them. I was cleaning the rear wheel this weekend and had to keep moving the bike back and forth get to all the dirty spots.

I was just trying to financially justify them (cleaning=no cost) as I told myself no purchases until the house stuff is taking care of. But since I would have bought these anyways, it not wasted money.

I just have to eat through 11 more tires! lol

Take a GOOD look at your pin.

Some of the pin tips are offset at an angle, if you put them in reversed it's REAL hard to get the bike on and off the stand.

Make sure it's right !

Hey Ken, I've got the same stands and I use them on my 9R as well. The pin for the front stand is not straight, its got a bend in it. Set the pin so the bend points to the front of the bike, and then slide it into the hole under the triple. It should go in pretty easy. Once its completely in then lift the bike onto the stand. It shouldn't slip and make any "bang." If it does you didn't put it in all the way at the beginning.

BTW, Pittbull stands rock! I've got a LP rear stand as well and I like my Pittbulls much better.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

he's referring to the pin that is on the front stands that hold the bike from under the triples, not the one that holds under the forks.
