Shift light and gear indicators?

Anyone use aftermarket shift lights or gear indicators? I really want to get one because I sometimes lose track of exactly what gear I'm in and have to wait till I get to the front straight and just shift all the way to 6th to be sure. Plus I don't want to have to look at my tach all the time to decide when to shift, and I'm not cool enough to be able to feel when I'm just a hair from redline.

How do you guys like em? What brands do I look for, and how hard are they to install, and what kind of $$$ am I lookin at?

For a 2000 GSXR 600. Thanks!

I have a Raptor Shift light. Only cost about $70. Works great and has high power LEDs. Only a 3 wire installation.

I had a Dyna shift minder and it was double the price, larger and more of a PITA to install. Here are a couple of pics.
