Tracks

What are some good local tracks to hit near the chicago land area. I want to hit a few tracks this summer.

We all undertake a modicum of risk everytime we thumb the starter-it's just inherent to the sport.

Thanks. I was looking at the autobahn in Joliet. Looks like a good layout. Any experiences with it?

I rode the north course last month with STT. VERY nice despite the high curbing and entry. 1.6 miles, combination of flowing and decreasing-radius corners. Heard that the South course is pretty bumpy. And no electricity in the paddock, nor showers.

Alot of tracks and people who have trackdays. We are renting out Grattan raceway in august for 2 days. $100 a day if interested. Joliet is a nice track and there are tons of trackdays there. Look at there website and you can see who is having trackdays there.

Ohh that's great, they charge a premeium for the south course too. I just threw down for the STT weekend.
