Video: Autoban - How stunt riders get down

Auto Vid

This is a great Video of the track, some of you may have ridin with this rider, some of you may have been passed by him. He ran 1:35's his first time out there. In just this small 10 minute video he laps some people twice in "I"

Here are some details on the bike:

32,xxx miles 929
Blown/shot suspension
Fried/weak motor
Fried brakes
Warped rotors
used stunt tires
-1 +10 gearing
No aerodynamics

Just the gearing alone is funny.

Im not a track guy, I dont claim to be, never been, and I aint fast, but doesnt that line when starting out mean something? Like dont cross it....Blend line? If thats the case, apparently the rules dont apply to him?

Sorry sir,
It's worth a 2 hour download. It will blown your mind.
You'll know what I'm talking about very soon.

The guy his was riding with on the RR was fun to watch. He gave up after a while.
It's just funny to watch him spank people on his ratty stunt bike with mad gearing going against the "bling bling" bikes.

It just reminds me when I use to race at Joliet on my 50 last year. I'd pull up with this beater 50 toss it on the ground and tear off the 12 bar while people laughed at me under there nice tents with there bikes on there pretty stands and worth God knows how much...then just smoke them

The 2 up session and the inside outside passing tells me it's stt.
Looks like he had a good time. Although it didn't seem like he was going that fast to me.

winki dont get me wrong WE ALL long to watch video of ourselfs, infact i got like 10-14 dvds of footage of me to help me be a better rider, AND to see my form, and etc.

the blend like is a line you DONT touch PERIOD! lets say you getting on the track you STAY withien that line, and from then on you DONT TOUCH or enter that area. reasons are IF another rider is getting on "when the tower guy sends him out" the guy getting on and the rider ALREADY on the track both know they have a buffer of saftey what he did was agasint nesba rules "dont know about stt" but it has to be the same.
that was wreckless. and thankfully no one got hurt.

ratty bikes dont mean shit its ALL RIDER, a 250cc couldnt run the shit out of him me and just about any other guy on this site if that rider was a RIDER!, see what i mean.

as far as the other stuff, he stuffed so many people by riding agressive that he himself slowed down the pace and RIPPED down every stright, thats what track riders or racers call a PARKER "parks it in the corners and rips ass out of it, slowing down everyone else behind him"

if part of, if not all of track riding is respect for your fellow rider and saftey while making a pass on the inside or outside of a turn. i surely know nesba doesnt allow passing on the inside with the "I" group cant say i know about STT rules, but surely they must be the same?

also, i would like to see that get better, if he is truely into track riding, and advancing his skills and being a faster safer rider, let us know so we can help him. he could get alot better with some minor adjustments of stuff, and some tips from better riders to set people up and learning this or that versus stuffing or parking.

in the end everyone will win.

I was waiting for the comments first. He was at the top a few years ago. Then in 2003/04 he got into "stunting"

He's been in many magazines...

Birth name is Robert John

His Claim to fame was a viscious 100mph tankslapper that broke his ribs, windshield and exploded the frame's steering-head on his gixxer, but saved it and still won the race with a broken frame & ribs.

I'm no Forum Leader here but I think it should be in the Track section.

It's nice to view the track for people who have yet to be there.

It was stt and it was last weekend. V2neal and I road with him in I for the first part of saterday, and then we moved to A for the rest of saterday and sunday. He was a good rider and I never saw him do anything shaddy. Now, about the 1:35, I'm gonna have to call BS on that. The best we ran was some low 1:39's, and we were passing him.

What I like best about him is how he changes his wheels, why use stand when you can throw an old tire on the ground and lay the bike down on that! We rolled in sunday morning to find it liying on its side like that, too funny :-)
