Private Track Time

I've heard about private track time on the BlackHawk Raceway. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm not pretending to be Valentino Rossi, just want to ride a little faster without worring about cops around the corner. I'm a completly amateour rider. Thanks in advance!

Private Track Time (PTT) is an organization along with Nesba and Sportbike Track Time (STT) put together "track days". PTT is the only one of the three which do not require a membership.

It would benefit anyone to get some time on the track to hone skills, or learn new ones, and it does not matter if you are slow or fast, or want to go slow, or want to go fast there is room for all.

Nesba is a CLSB sponsor, so there is a link to their site on the home page to find out dates/locations. STT & PTT also have sites with their dates/locations.

Have fun!

Pretty much what Brian said. It's put on by Leon Winfrey, a Buell racer. Some good points are that they take a really short lunch (20 minutes) and have small grids. It has 3 groups just like STT and Nesba. The downside is that it's usually on during the week, although he does have weekend date coming up this weekend. He also doesn't have control riders per se, so you might not get all the attention you would with other organizations.

In short, I don't think you can go wrong any of the three. Just pick the date that works best for you.

I just signed up for the July 2nd track day at Blackhawk (this Saturday). He still has openings for Saturday, Sunday is full but I plan on staying there and seeing if somebody doesn't show.

I'll be there Saturday too. It would be cool to see my old track bike again... hopefully it's not dinged up too badly.

Should be in showroom condition once again. She needed lowers, some paint, and a radiator due to trailering incident back in May. Basically the sport choc was shoved up into the lower as the bike moved forward on the trailer following an accident @ 35mph.

I'll be there this weekend also, July 2nd.

I'll have the 02 mille R, yellow in color, I am sure that I'll be the only one come by and say hey.

Mikdavid, if you want to say hey to your pitbull stand it will be there too. Thanks again for the stand it has been a great help.
