Track newbies (Wife and I) Looking to Spectate an Event

Any recommendations of when and where I can take the wife to spectate a track event. We both are very curious about the track (especially after chatting with butchf last wed at strats). We are looking to spectate maybe an open track day or a class. Or maybe a CCS race day. Any recommendations of where we should start and or dates of the closest events?

I am going to check BHF out.. maybe this weekend. Just don't want to scare the wife with a racing event thought it might be better to show her an open track day or a track school

The last weekend of this month NESBA has a track day at BHF. No charge to come in and check things out, and it's a real friendly crowd - we all want to get more junkies addicted!

Come out to the CCS race at Blackhawk(1.5hours)! If you don't mind a little farther drive(2hours), Gingerman raceway is the best spectator track. Its in a grass plain and has bleachers in the middle were you can see the whole raceway. CCS next race there is july 31. Wera is having there 6 hour endurance race at Grattan (3.5hours)this weekend as well.

Come on out to BHF on the 30th, there will be a lot of CLSBers out there riding with NESBA. TeamGoFast will have t-shirts with our S/N's on them.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

And take some mountain bikes to get around, just watch out for racers.
