Post: Kids first race

Well we're back to the garage again. Yeah, my son, Chris low sided going into T1 I think on the 3rd lap. Some road rash, body parts, rear set, and spirit wounds. One of his friends caught it on video. I haven't watched it yet. A little hard on my heart right now. We'll regroup and be back in no time.
Thanks to all that came out.

Special thanks to Marshall and Peter for pitting and guidance.

Congrats to Dano. You rock dude. The visit to our pit helped, thanks.

Kev dude, you're a big part of the family. Thanks for your help.(Budweiser just in time.)

My best wishes to the rest of the CLSB'rs out there this weekend. Sorry, I just don't know enough of you yet to seek you out.

Seems to be for the most part. Rash on knee, little pain in neck, and a whole lot of mental issues. Never saw the mental issues affect him before but I think time will help a bit.
Thanks for asking.

yeah big differance between racing and trackdays, thats why this old slow man sticks to track days.

tell him i said to heal up and to have FUN, no matter which type of riding it is, FOR HIMSELF to choose what he wants to do.

Ouch...he needs to work on that staying upright thing.

He'll get through it. Good luck with the next one.

It was my younger cousin first year there this year. He has a hand fully of races under his belt in the past two years, but man is he fast. He entered 7 races. Sat.GTU he was in second place and crashed, mwgp he was in third and crashed again! Sun. he back it down some took three thirds, a forth and then in race 13 he crashed in turn 5 and the grass taught FIRE!! Luckily they put the fire out quick so just some of the paint got burnt. Overall he did great for being his second time on the bike. I wish I could say the same for me. Took three fifths. GRRR.
