I used the personalization lines for my name, comp # and phone number, in case it came off the bike and got lost. The menus are pretty self-explanatory...

Ken....I don't think you need to touch the number of max laps per session.

You will want to set your max lap time....for you at least 10 minutes (I set mine to 4 minutes (RA) if you dont when you pull in after your last lap the timer will keep going.

You may want to change the length the last lap is displayed so that you can look down and catch it later on when it's safe to look.

Make sure the auto power on/off are set to Yes/5minutes respectively.

What else?...make sure you enter the track you are going to each time before you start your first session. Other than that, when you are done playing with it take those batteries out so they do not corrode over winter.

heres another questions..how does this thing know with what ever amount of laps you did...that session is over..cause your not still going round and round?

and if that is true...what does it do store all the times you went out and what each lap was in time wise for each session?

sounds about right?

when you pit in after your session it will keep running the timer until the MAX LAP TIME is met or until you press a button. I have mine set to display the fastest lap upon completion of the session.

You can remove the batteries and it will still store your old info.

Exactly, it will let you scroll back between sessions/laps for each day/track.

All the data is stored in the EPROM (Electronically Programable Read Only Memory or something cloe to that) So until you clear the data it stays there. Something like 400 laps can be stored. I set Pers Line #1 to Pete Lupori #2 to Champ91 Auto start is on. Sho fastest lap at end of session. You have to program track name b4 every event if its a different track. If you leave it off for long periods of time, I suggest removing the batteries.

BTW Kruz, you sold your old one to Allen? If so I had to reprogram it for him. You had a killer Pers Line.

cool guys thanks for all the info..i finaly read the manual a few times got it all down..BUT 1 PROBLEM?
and i dont know if it is 1 but it looks that was to me.

one of my remotes can trigger the reciever to work and stop etc,

BUT i noticed the SID (session i.d.#) keeps ranking up like session 1 session2,3,4,5, etc.

and the thing is..i go into option #16 to delete the last stored SID and well it does, UNTILL I START IT AGAIN...then its like i never did it at all
whats up with that..is your timers doing that too?

to me it should delete them all like if i had 3 SID's and i deleted the last one (#3sid) and doesnt go to the one before it #2 or nothing..i even did deleting SID's and ALL LAPS stored.

and still no matter what it keeps going to the next SID....6,7,8,9, etc.

the only way i can get it to start back from 1 SID is to do a total restore which SUCKS!!!!

what yeah guys think?..is yours doing the same thing or i got a bug in 1 of the options?(well deleting SID's option that is to start back at 1)

mine is incrimenting as well. doesn't matter much to me as I have a unique # and the name of the event so it doesn't bother me truthfully i never noticed thats how little that mattered to me.

I've never tried deleting a session so I can't help you....

I really don;t want to play around with it either..

Pete,
I had to censor my personal lines....you should have seen it before I gave it to Allen...did he ever send the unit back for repair?

well i got it done, also too i talked to the guys that make this, they said the ONLY way no matter what if you want to start back at 1 SID (session i.d.#) you have to do a total restore, then i asked why is that option in there to delete the last SID he said that is used mainly when up loading the info to your pc, then i asked, well why doesnt it still start back at 1 after that, and well he didnt have an answer, if you ask me, they fucked up there programming and NEVER changed it. then why have an option that ask to delete the last SID, well when you use that option and you happen to start at 1 session, you get done and want to delete it and start back at 1, you pick that option, delete the last SID in there (#1 sid) and well guess what...it didnt work, cause when you come back in youll noticed it now says 2 sid, INSTEAD of 1 sid.

go figure

anyway i got my personal lines in,
