credit to sp2pilot:

"fill your bathtub with warm water and half a bottle (8 oz.) of Woolite(sp?). let it soak for about 2 hours. rinse with warm water and towel dry, then hang in a warm dry area and let it air dry for 24 hours. Condition with leather conditioner and spray liner with fabreze.

Surface cleaning leathers with a stiff nylon scrub brush and Woolite(sp?) is the easiest way I have found. Build up a nice little lather and let soak for 15 minutes then brush off. Towel dry and you will be shocked at how clean they get. "

If you don't need them for a bit send them to Barnacle Bill's. They do cleaning so you don't smell like Summer's Eve.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
