My first track day at the AB!!!!!!

H-O-L-Y C-O-W!!!!!!!!

First and foremost, I would like to thank CLSB for the track day.
This was my first experience on a track. Simply put, I LOVED IT!

Unbelievable! AWESOME!

NESBA is a fantastic organization. The way the day was structured, made it so comfortable to ride...the people, the place, the professionals...truly awesome.
I'm no pro but the weather wasn't bad.
3 sessions in the morning and 4 sessions after lunch. We had 2 good (nice and dry and pleasant w/little humitiy.) runs in the morning. nice steady rain (drizzle) from mid 3rd session to just over mid lunch. After lunch to end of 4th session track completely dried. 5th-7th run completely dry!

Was a great day for me.

WTM rode as well as well as others from CLSB. I hope they post. Thanks to ALL the fellow board members that lent a hand, answered questions, gave tips and shared experiences. RDRASH even came out from way up NW to watch and show us the ropes and he wasn't even riding!
What a great bunch of people.

I could go on and on about my day but I got to go get my drink on and reminisce with the litle lady about todays BEAUTIFUL activities.

CLSB ROCKS!
NESBA ROCKS!

It's the autobahn in Joliet. I did the North course today. can you say "TWISTIES??" and "NO PO PO?"

Naw! On a more serious note, can't stress the professionalism from the staff of NESBA and fellow riders!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If I can answer, I will.

It was a great time today, my day was cut short because of my lowside out of 6. But a learning experience none the less.

Oh man, I hope you are alright. I think I passed by some of that. (If you were in the beginner group as I was.)
I hope all is well.

I had an awesome day as well!! Spent most of it trying to be smooth and learn track lines. The control riders were great, and I had a blast overall.

I'm frickin' exhausted and can hardly keep my eyes open - time to go to bed so I can get up 6 hours to help Nolan get ready for his track day tomorrow!

Just got home from two days of FUN!

GeeWiz...were you the group pitted next to me by the fence? I was the one with the multi-color/primer bike and the silver pickup. Glad you had a good time...NESBA has never failed to put on a good show. You were looking pretty smooth out there from what little I got to follow you.

Kim...I followed you for about 2/3 of a lap during the last session and I must say that you have some good form through the turns and are holding your line pretty well. Good Job...hope to see you on the track some more.

I had a great time on the gsxr-600. Due to the RAIN on Saturday, I was able to get some practice using rain tires. All alone on the track in the pouring rain...it was a blast. Until I tried to push it a bit to hard in turn 7 and went for a mud run after the front end washed out. It was a great learning experience riding in the rain, and I actually got about 10 laps in before the crash.

Great weekend

Good times! I did Sunday only and had a blast. AB is a very nice facility and the North course is a ton of fun to ride!

Thanks to Sam for the help and thanks to Garth for showin me some lines. 1st time there but the times dropped steadily throughout the day.

Mich did the intro class and loved it. Carol really does a good job working with those in intro!!

Glad to see all the CLSB peeps yesterday. Chris, I'm glad you're ok and that the bike wasn't too bad!

Fun as always.

Good to see Troy & Michelle & the rest of the folks.

I do think I like North better than South !! Even though it is smaller, it has a pretty nice flow. Couple of those turns I STILL have not figured out thought

Had a fun & safe day. Sorry that I couldn't hang with you guys on Monday - but I had to work

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

I don't know if I have pics. Unfortunatly the team that usually takes pics at the track wasn't there on Sunday. I heard there are people that actually follow you and tape you on the track. I really wanted that to evaluate myself but no go. I'm sure I'll run into that crew sometime. I'll also have to get a camera!
