Where do you guys get forks done?

I know there is thermosman, traxxion, racetech, but is anyone getting them done locally? If so, what components do they use and what is the price?

4 and 6 for sure...

Ed Kwaterski at Trackside Engineering in Wauwatosa also does excellent work.

Send them to Thermosman if yo are not in a hurry. Otherwise go to a race or trackday where Thermosman is present and he can do them while you wait in a hour or 2.

Sounds like good advice.

If you really want a local guy to do it find one that will be at the tracks you go to. If not send them to T-man.

I had mine done by Matt Drucker at MD Racing. I highly recommend him, he does great work.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

MD Racing did my forks using Penske internals. It's the "after the sale" service that is the most important thing to me. There's no substitute for having on-hand, immediate support at the track when you need it. Matt has changed springs for me at the track on a moment's notice, plus tons of fine tuning adjustments and advice (right NOW, when I need it, not over the phone or next week). I say use someone who is available to you at the events you attend.

I will have to give props to Trackside as well. Between Ed and Todd, they get it done.

I have heard great things about Thermosman, but both bikes I will be running at RoadAtlanta were set-up by MD Racing. I can't speak highly enough about Matt, and the quick response he gives you at the track.

He was a great help at both Autobahn South to me as well as suspension set-up at Putnam. He did the work both times, right when I was there, right when I asked. If you are doing NESBA, use the guy that is gonna be there to support you and take care of you.

I say go with Matt.

If you need more comprehensive work done, he can pick your bike up at the track, and return it to you all completed at the next track day.

It is up to you, but quality, good pricing and great availability make this a no brainer for me.
