I've got it now...

Yup...

I was putting the stereo in the bus today...(Yeah, it's bus. Check the pic...)

And I needed some electrical connectors. So, I decide to go down to the hardware store.

I jump in the wife's car, nice little Ford Focus, handles nice, peppy engine, and head on down.

So, I stop at the light to turn left. It hits me...race withdrawal. I roll out of the corner and really get into the throttle, bang another gear.

Was nice. Big grin. Short lived though. Time to ice race.... Or ride the Z50 around the back yard.

Tht's why I insisted on getting a manual tranny in my new car. Let's you have at least a little fun even when you can't ride.

I'm definitely going to get the MTB out a few times this winter.

I was thinking of getting a used beat up Focus to do some rally-X in. I figure with $2k in suspension and some skid plates and the Tean O'niel rally school it would make a fun little toy. Then use the WRX for the tarmac events....
I can't imagine rally racing being more expensive than motorcycle racing
