Possible Track Dates. VRS?

All dates are at the newly repaved Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Rockton, Illinois.

April 3rd

May 29th

July 17th

September 4th

http://www.team-visionsports.com

Hey Kruz, April 3rd might be a good warm-up date for VIR a few weeks later!

I'm up for the April date. After 8 weeks of Army reserve duty every other weekend, I'll need a track day for sure!

Thanks for the good thoughts.

The reason I've continued to put so much of my own time and money into this endeavour is because of the good people that are so appreciative of what I'm trying to do.

However, the lack of loyalty from Blackhawk and CCS in this matter is making things pretty hard at many different levels.

Hopefully, I'll have some ideas.

Ok, the new dates are up. Everything seems to be in order. Pricing also.

If you'd like to check out the link that Jack posted, please do so.

I know that there was some talk about a bunch of the CLSB people coming to a day, I'd love to work it out. I would offer a club discount.

Check out the site, drop me some questions. There might be some minor changes in the prep section under FAQ, but the basic information is there.

I'll be out of town visiting my Dad and Sister. I'll reply after I return.

Merry Christmas!

Ok, I'm back in town.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Following all of the other considerations for pricing, CLSB members can take an extra $20 off their enrollment. So, there will still be discounts for getting your enrollment, having a racing license or certifiable experience.

Just send me a copy of your profile off the board. That should be EVIDENCE enough, eh?

But, PLEASE enroll early. There is only a certain amount of space that is available.

Apparently, the offer that I have made to you guys, the CLSB people, is considered advertising.

Sorry. It's your board, or at least someone's putting up the money for a public forum.

Anyway, what I do there is part of me. I loose tons of money doing this for riders. That's about it.

Can't handle the complaints from the top about my "advertising". So, I think it's best that I leave the board.

Take care!

Unbelievable make a comment to you and ask that you remove your website link from your signature when you signed up because it is a 1st person advertisement on this board, and offered to set you up as a sponsor for advertising on the board. You simple just removed it and said nothing more pretty much.

Then I send a polite letter about this post in this thread again was advertising your school...and I think its time to focus attention on this cause it can really help your business and more so the members on the board, and offer to work you on what ever amount you can afford to advertise on the site with...and all of a sudden..THIS?

You know I for 1 really wish luck in the future.

p.s. if any members would like to see what letter that blew dave over the top i guess...just let me know ill post it for the members of this board to see just how HORRIBLE it was

I'd post it, but I blew it away myself.

There are others that you've hit up for money too for advertising. That's fine, it is your board. I can respect that. There is not enough money in riding schools to even think about it. That would be one of the reasons why you don't have any schools advertising here. Just a fact of life.

I can offer advice quite well on the board. I can give thoughts, ideas, and point people in directions. I have been very careful about my postings about my stuff.

I offered something to you for your track day. I left it as an open offer. That was what set you off, in my eyes. I'm sorry if it made you angry. My motivation has always been to help. If I wanted to make money, I would be doing something else.

The origination of THIS post is not mine. Nor was the post about the decision to come to my program for a track day. Others do that, I may answer questions about it within that post.

You feel as though you are reasonable, and that is the way it is. I appreciate the time you have into your board. But I can't speak my mind on the board. That's why I should just stop.

But thanks for having the board. I understand that it's hard.

Hi, dave....say don't know if you forgot about not advertising on the site for free like we had that conversation before..but I happened to come across a thread where plainly you are advertising your business in a thread you posted.
I am sure you just wanted to clear it up with our members what was what.
Here is 1 of the post within that thread for reference:

Super Dave Over the Years...

but the simple fact remains..you are not as of yet a paying advertiser on chicagoland sportbikes...as you can see the site me and Tony made is based more towards riding and track day riders...then a stunting board and we are a local web site with 99% of our members within close range. i have noticed a lot of dropping of hint about your place and the on going practices you do at your school.
but here is where I am going with this e-mail.

the fact remains...we need to get you on some sort of based advertising section which will allows you free will in your own forum to conduct as much business as you can do, and respond to as many members that ask questions..and or advertise up to 3 thread per month about specials you might have or so on.
i have paying advertisers to be here and its not far to them for someone to slide by without conducting business along the same guild lines as they are. nor is it to myself and tony

So if you choose to join our advertisers, get out your business name and reach the members of this board (in the manner i have told you about) and all the future members..(which we are growing in and more so seems track going members, this is a GREAT venue as you have ALREADY seen) to capitalize for yourself.
Also as you have already done...discounts to our members is a requirement of advertising on this site.

Please let me know where you want to go with this and how I can help reach a settlement for all parties to comply to. If you plan to advertise on our site...we can do a couple of different ways to fit your expense needs.
if you dont want to...them let me know aswell.

but this subject needs attention

Simple bullet statements can be seen as the same.

I understand what you guys are saying to me. And this is your board. So, a reasonable person must make a decision. I thought I gave a reasonable explaination.

Others have to make those decisions, but they are, in general, not business owners or partners, etc. I many ways, they are lucky that they don't work in a corner of an industry that they enjoy.

Again, thanks for having the board, guys.

I would never refer to someone like that, unless I knew them really, really well. And again, it is your board. I'm answering questions. But you believe otherwise. It's your board, I must submit to your rules.

NOW...this was only the 2 times I have contacted you about anything on this site pertaining to your business.
The 1st was when you signed up..and had your website link in your signature.

I explained we have a no advertising policy on this board unless you are a paying sponsor and offered to help you in anyway in order to do so..becuase we are more track going people here and this would be beneficial to us all..and my members by most of all getting discounts from our advertisers.

Then I send this letter after I happen to come across this thread.

And then ofcourse you take the action in which you have already done so.

ALSO on the comment about me being mad about you offering your services on MY and more so CLSB members fun day..BUT AT A PRICE?
Like I said leave the paying to paying you in your school UNLESS someone ask for it. I would think..you would want good relations and maybe like you said you want to HELP others. SO DO I!
that's the reason for this web site...and NOT to make money!
I got enough money to make a living on and I only try to get the bills paid for what we have to pay in fee;s to keep it running. Enough about me..back to you.

You come here and with an ego chip...and basically drop hints, and notions and etc..about your business...well if you can reframe from advertising...please start some kind of sponsorship with us and help out the members with a discount is what I am after for my friends and members of this board.

You have gotten away with some things around here...and basically...it s NOT FAIR to other business that comply with normal day to day business ethics of conducting it...but NOT you..you like to slideeeeee on what you can get by.

Now that I ask you to put up on what you have done around here, and you flip!

PLEASE, i don't need the aggravation.

If anyone and or the members here on the board..they were talking about your school in this thread...that means they were...at this website..which mean good for you. (business)
and then like other times..you come in and cross that fine line.
let the members conduct, and if they want i am SURE they will contact you for any further information.

Simple fact is this.....for 1 you have hurt my feelings with dealing with you.
2 you have basically insulted me.
3. You cannot conduct business as a professional
4. I have offered so many times to WORK WITH you on what you can afford to do with.

What else you want me to do?
If you want to Spam the hell out of this site NO WAY!
Go do it on your own.

I honestly feel bad for the members now from your actions.
And now...so do i. now the members of this board...and the thousands od hits it gets and people read now see who you handle things.

:Laughing Dave...I even forgot about that thread, but yeah looks like some more advertising to me.

You see...I am a laid back kinda guy pretty much.
I don't make a shit list...I just live on the board day to day...and from what I can remember this was for sure the 2nd time I had to talk with you about this.

That's all..not a conspiracy
just plain and simple policy we have here.

Ill try to get back to your needs from time to time today...I got also have other things to do and its the weekend...time for fun not debating with a partie that is purely 1 sided.

And don't say...oh no I am not 1 sided.

The fact looks to me you don't want to sponsor out site and conduct business in a business type fashion.
I offered to work with you in order to do so. In which you have made no reference to it.

Other then talking in general, you are giving your school away.
So if you cant afford to do it, then I guess you cant afford to do it.

You know all of this hardhead shit could have been avoided.

You ask HOW?
By talkingggggggggg about the matter at hand.
You come to me and say...I want to be a sponsor but I cant advertise that much cause I don't have much of funds in order to do so. I am doing this for the love of it and to help others.
HEY i can see that IF that was the case. And you wanted to help people and hopefully get some business from the guys. COOL i say...well tell yeah what....you put up some chicagoland stickers on your race bikes at your school, and add our web link to your site.

doesn't cost you shit! helps me, help others looking for a place to get some good info and business on a site that gives its members a price break, in this EXPENSIVE hobby we are in.
helps you, cause the track going guys that want to improve more will see your school and HOW COOL...we can get a discount and he is a member as well. (and good for you)

But now...I don't want to conduct business with you...cause of the proportions of your conduct.

No help is free. You pay for the track, insurance, cornerworkers, medical stand-by, etc. I was offering you something that would be very inexpensive. If you took it in the wrong way, I am sorry. If it added something of value, great. If it did not, then you have the bases covered.

I got enough money to make a living on and I only try to get the bills paid for what we have to pay in fee;s to keep it running.
That's fine. And if you do make money with the website, good for you.

If I have an ego, it's pretty small. Otherwise, again, I would be doing a lot of other things rather than work with motorcycle road racers (poor, stubborn people) and sport riders (nearly the same, but not stuck in the road racing addiction).

I offered a discount. The offer that I would have given you for your day would have been, well, pretty unbelieveable. But that doesn't matter. You do want a monthy or yearly fee for me to completely express myself. That money doesn't exist. The riding school business doesn't make it; I take money from my "living" to offer this program to my friends. I don't have customers, I have friends. It's the same, but a little bit different. Back to the ego thing, I guess.

Don't get aggravated. It's not worth it. There is really nothing to be aggravated about.

and then like other times..you come in and cross that fine line.
let the members conduct, and if they want i am SURE they will contact you for any further information.
And really that's where it's at. They will contact me if need be.

I am sorry to have hurt your feelings. I have given you no insults. I have been very cordial; back to the ego thing. I do conduct business as a professional. But as a person, I can't say much on this board. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings. You claim that this is the SECOND time you've offered to work with me in an earlier post, but now you say SO MANY TIMES. I'll agree with two times.

Go do it on your own.
Nothing really to do. I'm not sure why you continue to respond. You don't need to. I already conceeded to what you have said many times. If need be, people will get back to me.

As for your last reference there, I really don't deal in that world. I'm not sure why you would bring it up.

wow the flood of information I am getting in.
from members about your dealings here and other boards as well where you express this type of behavior.

i am not looking for anything more then to be considered an equal among my piers...what's you would extend me i hope you would extend to my other members...just cause i am 1/2 owner doesn't mean i should be bribed unless you were going to say ill give you your day for free, BUT please use it as a cost off set IF you were paying money to advertise, that's what I would except!

then why do you feel the need to conduct business on this site then?...rather do it in private or on your board, unless you want to conduct business here?
you seem to not see what your doing somehow?

that's why i am finding the need to respond...i wouldn't respond if there was nothing to respond to.

Your advice and knowledge is appreciated im sure by all members of this board. However the owners of this board do have rules on advertising on this board and its only fair that they are followed by, for all the other vendors on this board. I understand you are only replying to threads(outside the track day thread) that are based around schools, but its still advertising. The discount you have/had? offered was nice, but again still advertising. Maybe could have been avoided by contacting them first? i dont know but again there site there rules. I for one dont want to see you off the board i think you have alot of advice good information to offer, but if it has to include plugs to your school it has to be done by there rules.
Hope you guys can get things worked out
