Okay,
I hear all of the talk on the board and stuff. Just wondering who's racing next year and who's riding what? Just wondering.

Just track days for me. I'll be on the RC, trying to come up with a new paint scheme.

Doing photos as usual.

I plan on racing with CCS @ BHF on my HawkGT and also probably some WERA rounds @ Grattan.

WERA is also running an 8hr endurance race @ Grattan 7/19!:-

I’ll do the ocassional race and track day. I hope to get a trophy or 2 racing. I will also do a few 4 wheeled appearances, probably 1 race at each track (BFR, RA, Grattan, and the 12 hr race @ Gingerman) Throw in a couple SCCA or BMWCCA autox’s and ocassional driving school instruction, and ’03 will be another busy summer.

Hey Allen,

Like we were talking last time. Let me know next time that they have a open track day at BHF for cars. I wanta bust a couple laps w/ my car and my buddy would be interested (he does a bunch of auto cross) w/ his RX7. It sounds like it would be a blast. (and everyone don't bust my balls too bad for wanting to run my car at BHF )

I'll be doing at least a couple of races, and a lot of trackdays riding the Gixxer!

So if you want to know who is in the lead for the races I run just watch for the guy right behind me, of course that will only be for a few seconds until he passes me, leaving me a lap down.

Ummmm yeah. Unless I can scrape up about $6000 and a set of balls for a track bike I'll just be tooling around at the speed limit on my little duckling

Of course I'll probably be unable to resist the peer pressure to race (starting with intro track days of COURSE) and end up destroying my bike (and my body) but hey it's all in the name of fun right?

Must race. Looks like I've got a ride on the three hour ice race in January. The new bike should be in by then (2003 R6?). Will work on my H1 Kaw triple project. Might ride that at Daytona in the vintage races. Usually, a guy from California has me ride a 1969 Honda CR750 at Daytona too. And I'm talking to a guy about riding some Z1 Kaw too.

I'll race, and do my schools. Talking about making myself available at some track days. Will have to see how it all fits in.

I have kids and a wife too. What's wrong with that? Go racing!

Well I'll be tooling around during the week on my baby boy as well. I would like a track day but I have so many little trips I want to do during the weekends and a few long distance ones I doubt I'll even get to the track (unless it's on the way ).

Otherwise I might do a track day or two if I find the $$$.

LMAO--- "But wait!!!! thats JimGoFast closing in on Ptak, the gap is narrowing.....they're neck and neck..... OOOO MY GOD its JimGoFast by a VERY small margin. Despite his too tight leathers JimGoFast has clenched the NESBA Advanced group world title

I thought all the REALLY fast guys raced AFM? I wanted to through that into the WERAvsCCS discussion

".... THIS JUST IN.... James Ptak is being airlifed to the hospital via the Flight-For-Life, after the WHOOSH from JimGoFast blowing by actually knocked him off the bike. The combination of laughter from watching DanO attempt to do a Christ across the finishline, and the force of impact from hitting the ground at 2mph (he slowed down and let Jim by in order to watch DanO) was just too much to take..."

No Time or $ to race, though I plan to resurrect the race bike and do some track days. I need leathers though since mine are old and small,(mainly small since I'm a load now). Parenthood has a price.

No DanO... I'll be in the "P" group in NESBA. I'm creating my own class, and no one else will enter it but me. Then I can ensure my wins. I'll win every time I go to the track... I'll have more wins than you will. Then at the end of the season, I can ask you, "So DanO, how come I have more wins than you?? I guess you're not as fast as I thought you were..."
