Keep me posted as to when you go race. I'd like to check it out, I've been having supermoto fever since I saw it live at RA. My track bike may be for sale soon.

Noticed Max was still sucking. In the back of the pack and it looked like he didn't have that wheelie under control.

So Steve, you going to take the knee down? Or leg-out approach when you finally take your skirt off and start riding that new toy of yours?

yeah, looked pretty cool and was considering it until I watched a couple other videos on that site and came back to earth after seeing a bunch of those guys biting it.

Oh yeah, it's not that easy...

So what do you think, pros and cons over an SV or a 600 on the track. They seem so F'n high suspension wise. Do they lower them when they convert it to a motard?

You gotta know it's lighter. do they crash better? Top speed a lot lower?

Probably the knee down appoach I don't think I would be that comfortable with the leg out but we will see. I am not allowed to where the skirt any more when I ride the bike it get caught in the chain and ruins it.

Jack on the dirt bikes converted, yes they lower them respring them change out the brakes rims and hubs it is expensive. Thats why I went with the KTM SMR it is a bike that is a real motard out of the box with alot of goodies like steel braded lines radial brakes, adjustable triples, and a buch of other stuff. It comes stock with a 160 in the back so I can use my SV slicks I have left over for Barber next month. Hey Jack shoot me a email at [email protected] I talked to grouch about Barber and I had a couple of questions to ask you.

On the crashing part I have sliders on order for the axels and hangards and also the exhaust so hopefully it won't be as bad. Figure it this way I wont have to replace body work as much since the bodywork is minimal. I have been wanting the SM for a while, I think it will be alot more fun that the SV or my old GSXR.
