Rossi's the f*ckin man Props to Nicky though, he didn't make it easy for him.

Great race overall

One gripe though, whenever there was some good action going on they would show the teams watching it instead of the action WTF!!!!

My name is JB, people call me JB

I really thought Caparossi was going to finish better going with the Hard/Hard choice - Glad to see Vali doing what he does - P7 to lead and win !!!!

Hayden rode a helluva race too but is it me or does that cat just always seem to come up the tiniest bit short? Sure last yr in the America GP he took it but in almost all other podium finishes he has, he just seems to not be able to take the flag???

Finally got to finish watching the race. Hayden put up one hell of a fight and has one hell of a podium streak. But yes I do agree Hayden does appear to fall short and at times not as aggressive as he should be. Then again, it's easy to say that when your ass is parked on a sofa.

Win it or bin it doesn't bring home a championship. He gave it a shot towards the end but Rossi got ahead of him and pinned it. Capirossi's tire choice decision didn't pan out. He went with hard tire compounds thinking he'd have some tread left in reserve to make a mad dash to the front. But he got held up so he couldn't start his charge soon enough.

Great race though

Yup, Hayden has demonstrated his ability to be a consistent front runner and one of the best in MotoGP...6 straight podiums, wins will come...he's lookin' strong...Rossi is Rossi...a frickin' bitch man...the guy's amazing.

Great race and yes, i'd much rather see the action on the track than the team crews watching the race...ON THE LAST LAP

...and Hopper's going to end himself if he doesn't get a bike that can contend...why the hell did he sign a 2 year extension??...it's got to piss him off to no end to see Stoner and Pedrosa immediately up front...on RC211v's...

yeah, he is obviously quite upset with the bike. Great rider can't do squat without a bike that can run. He'd be better off with Mladin's bike than his own right about now. At least that one can finish!

I was hoping Sete would finish the season with NO points, but he managed to not crash out..

Perhaps Hayden made his pass on Vale a few laps too soon. It's easy to critique after the fact but a last lap pass could have worked out better.

and that's no shit, i can't understand how suzuki can put out such focused machines on a production level and be so far behind in their top end development...they're down reportedly in the neighborhood of 10 to 20 horsepower and simply cannat give hopper a competent machine...he is much better than what he has shown in the results

Agree, plus Hayden went a little wide on one of the turns and that is when the gap went from .3 to .9. still a great race by Hayden. I would say, right now he is probably the best rider behind Rossi.

I think that's what screwed him. It looked like as long as he stuck close enough that he could pass Rossi going into turn one on the last lap. Since there was a decent gap he had no shot.

I think Hayden did not have the tires towards the end, Rossi is the man.

Hayden is strong, he has been consistant and it will pay in the end. He is riding a great machine and looked awesome. That battle with Rossi was excellent racing (some of the best of the last couple of season IMHO). As Hayden gets experience we will see him being more of a condender against Rossi.

What the heck is going on with Gibernau? I really thought he was going to shine more this season.

1st race a DNF that wasn't his fault.
2nd race (really his 1st race, and on a bike that is new to him) he got 4th.

not too bad..... for being cursed and all

Props to Rossi, He is really something.

Hayden is looking more and more agressive to me from the end of last season and this race. He seems pissed that he's not winning and is knocking on the door. He was working it pretty hard this race.

I mean when he first showed up he would just burn up the tires the first half of the race and finish off the podium. or tuck the front going for it and pitch the bike into the kitty litter, nothing acomplished there.

My question is this.
I was watching a 2004 race and they were sliding all over the place.
Now that the traction control is more in play.
Is this making it easier for the 250 riders to step up and do well ??

Pedrosa needs to learn how to put the power to the ground, he was wheelie-ing all over the track.

I just watched the race last night, it was torture not being able to read this thread...a few comments.

First off...Tivo disappointed me last Sunday. It decided that it would not record any of the races since there a was a similar named show recorded in the last 30 days. Even though I have it setup to record "first run & repeats" that wasnt good enough. I had to change it to "All + duplicates" or something like that.

The producer/cameramen were horrible...shaky cameras, too many pit shots in the heat of racing (zero umbrella girls...that one of Lorus kissing his wife/biatch was okay), no post race interview, no warm-up shots, etc.

The announcers were just as lost too...just because Valentino turns around to see who's behind him does not mean he has serious problems. They all do that to show boat a little.

in addition to what you mentioned, One of the things I had to do was to make sure the limit was not at the default of 5 recordings per search.

That throttle is a lot happier then the 250's he's been riding.

Besides doesn't he weigh like 12 pounds or something.
They probably had to send out for fork springs to "BIC pens"
