They should make spectators pay the 50 dollar fee, and if you are racing or riding you should be able to have your damn pit bike for nothing!!! I mean, aren't we as riders and racers paying enough anyway?!?!?

Thanks to the asshats that ruined it for ya'll......

I say racers get pit bike teched and stickered (No Fee) and charge fee for entrance to spectators with pitbike each and every.. made some extras coin for the track and cover Ambulance rides....

$50 for someone to get in and watch? Theres a sure way to make sure the place stays empty. Most *major* sporting events dont cost $50 to get into. A day at BHF watching people pretend theyre Nicky Hayden for $50?

I think he just meant $50 for spectators with pit bikes. That wouldn't help though, I believe the spectators were riding the racers pit bikes around. You know, friend goes out to race and let's his friend screw around on the pit bike type deal

It just makes it tougher to get around without a pit bike. Especially to go get your tires mounted then to bring them back to your pit.

I'm going to buy one of those little wagons to bring my wheels back and forth. It's like a little garden wagon.

And then ride the mountain bike to different corners if I want to watch. Fuck paying 50 bucks to ride a pit bike around.

I don't have that many details but I was there on Wednesday and I don't remember her name but it was an older lady with long I think almost red hair. She was the one that told us during the riders meeting about the new rule, said it was OK this time, but for all future event's there would be a $50 annual fee for using pit bikes due to the unsafe actions that happened last year. That's all I know, sorry

That is pretty fucking stupid.

Have people sign a form, if they get hurt it's there own fault, if they fuck off, they get kicked out.

If they had taken a harder line with those who had caused problems last year, we might not have this problem now.

Gordon Lunde makes a good point about contacting Blackhawk and asking how this will be an effective way to stop the dumb stunts.

Although ----------------> Where else can you go screw around on your pit bike for $50?!

I remember some guy last year pulling stunts on a 4x4 with his girlfriend screaming at him to stop.

I don't understand why people think the pit area is some place to fuck around and showoff.

Also, I don't even get the point of pitbikes there. Is it that hard to walk to the bathroom or around to other trailers?

Or when your dog ass tired and carrying a wheel and tire in each hand walking to the tire vendor 100 yard away. In leathers and boots on a 90 degree day.

Ah yes, I remember that walk well.

But Im not about to buy a pit bike just so I save a 100 yard walk. Let alone pay $50 to ride said pit bike to the tire vendor. I think for a track like Blackwawk, you can get away without a pit bike. Something like Road America. You better have wheels if you want to get out to the carousel, or dont expect to get there for half an hour.
