Road America AMA Tickets

Anyone have a line on any kind of deal for Supertickets for the AMA Superbike races the first weekend of June.

Just looking to try and save a few bucks.

Anyone?

If you cornerwork 3 events for CCS prior to the event... and agree to work one day at the AMA weekend, you and Rachel will be able to do the whole weekend for free.

I corner worked last year, and would rather party and drink beer while I watch the races this year.

I couldn't handle Brian Mclaughlin much more after a full day at Turn 1

Corner working some CCS stuff mite be in the picture for me this year though. But no corner working AMA stuff this year.

The last couple years corner working AMA stuff I have been cursed at by Ben Bostrom, yelled at by several other cocky riders, burnt on exhaust pipes picking up machines.

I want to chill this year.

It's a 7:30 or 8 start time...but they've got a bunch of classes...they also run a vintage class, a junior class and sometimes four wheelers too...we're usually outta there by 10:30 or 11...it's a real kick ass time...$15 for 18 beers, and they come in cup cake trays

I'm going to take a half day on Friday and come up there. I'll be in the area about 4 or 5.

Just found out there is a strong chance the camp ground will be open across the street from gate 1.

I will be camping there.

I guess they need to pass inspection from the county

How is the camping out there? We are planning a trip up with at least 10 of us. We were planning to camp.

How big is the spot for the $75 family fee?

The family sites are something like 20'x30' and will be a tight squeeze for 10...they enforce site locations there...but if your group of 10 can handle 3am burnouts and a raucus crowd, the "adult" campground is first come first serve...

Inside of turn one...but there is NOTHING adult about it ...it's a freakin' blast but not for the little ones if your bringing any along.

No, it will be all adults. Most that I would assume will enjoy a little craziness

You pay the same for the family site but just set up in turn 1?

Or is it better to not shit where you eat? Setup camp in the "family" section, but party in turn 1...

Yup...it can get pretty nutty out there...really a very good time...a bunch of us head out of there on Friday night to watch the 1/2 mile flattrack race at the county Fairgrounds...if you like drinking 12oz beers out of 18 hole cupcake trays and kick ass motorcycle racing it just may be for you
