? about road america june 1-4

So I have been invited to go to this race. I have never been. So here is my ?'s.

1-It's fri thru sun are there races every day?
2-What times are the races?
3-Can I buy tickets last minute or do they sell out?
4-Any good nightlife in the area?
5-Anything I should know?

Thanks for your help!!!!

1. yes races usually everyday (last I remember) and practice first.
2. Ya gotta check the schedule for it.
3. yep. they dont sell them out, BUT there is a cut off for the Supertickets (cheaper than buying one each day).
4. Siebkens in Elkhart Lake (head north on 67 until you get into town. At the stop sign take a left and when you see the main strip take another left. Racers abd odd bikes EVERYWHERE.
5. Cops are EVERYWHERE by the track and arent afraid to write tickets. turns 7-8 is a great area to watch as is turn 5. No unlicensed vehicles allowed by spectators, you have to walk through the paddock, but can ride everywhere else. They usually have a lunch time tour opf the track for $25. You can ride the track but its speed limited obviously.

My friends and I have been going for the last 6 or 7 years. There are actually a couple people in the group that have been going for almost 20 years.

Very good times to be had.

If you are up there Friday night go to the Plymouth County fairgrounds and watch these guys race http://dairylandclassic.com/.

Camp either across from gate 1, in the track or at plymouth.

Go to Siebkins in downtown Elkhart Saturday after the races for good beer food and tons of motorcycles everywhere.

Explore, hit some twisty roads, get lost. Everywhere you ride around that area has awesome roads.

OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT!!!!

Have a Brat at the track, you wont find one better

Yep,
Distance, it's not completely accurate but they have a set standard distance for each class. Then depending on what track they are running at they try and get as close as possible to at lease run that distance with how many laps it takes. That way each race weekend is somewhat consitant with distance/time, etc. I think they are just trying to have some sort of "standard" that can be applied to each race weekend.
