Memorial Day Weekend dirttrack and supermoto at the Springfield mile

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am racing my first supermoto race. It is after the dirttrack at the Springfield mile. I was wondering if anyone wants to come with. You can ride with me I would like some help in the pits just in case. Alyson might not be able to make it so I would hate to get hurt in the dirt section since I still very very new to dirt. Here are some links to the races. This is down in Springfild IL On Sunday afternoon. I might leave a little early to catch some dirttrack races.

Awesome Steve!

No offense, but be prepared for a humbling experience. You will most likely get smoked!

There will be a lot of kids that race Dirt Track or have raced dirt track , they are fast, they are literally children, and they are not all boys!

Good luck, and remember, none of those kids have to go back to work after the weekend, they have no fear, AND THEY ARE FAST!

Dude wait till you see how fast some of these "Children" are. I was fucking shocked when I went down there to race a couple short track races. A lot of the same kids race supermoto to. Let me know if any of them are racing there flat track bikes out there, they will be set up with 19's front and rear. I'll have to join you some time because I have a CR125 all set up for TT racing that I can ride. Rachel and I are going to the Smoky Mountains to go riding so I can't make it. But it sounds like a lot of fun.

Don't they have an indoor track in Springfield too?

All right guys some one post up.

Alyson might not be coming down with me. So this is the deal I will pay for your meals to help pit bitch for me. I just have bad feeling about racing by myself and if something happens where I can't drive home I want to have somether to help me get me and my gear home or at least close to home.

I wanna go! Every year, there's been a CCS event the same weekend.

Well, this time, I don't have to be there (MAM)!

So who wants to go watch some RACIN'!?

And Steve, I'd be more than happy to help ya.

Kimmie,

Take my place at Supercamp for $250 off. You know you want to...

BTW, how is the knee?

Bruce, The knee's good. I'd love to put that day to good use - and you know it - but I'm fat as hell these days and am nowhere near being at the appropriate level of physical condition to enjoy it - it'd be a waste.

Awww girl, you sell yourself short. Anyway, It's not like you need to do every session.

And a beat up 50 year old was in better shape?

LOL! You'd best believe if I was gonna do it again, I'd be out there for every freakin' session. Ain't no self-doubt... no doubt about it - I couldn't get my leathers zipped if you were offering me a free trip to do Spencer. Too many 4-day weeks on the road, and not enough ambition. I'll be hittin' it HARD once I get moved/situated. In the meantime, I'm a squishy spec-tater!
