When transporting them, try NOT to tie them down too tightly. I tied mine to the trailer, pretty tightly. Ended up bending the bars. It's no longer 'EZ' to put up.

Picked up a 10x10 at wal-mart 90 bucks. It has a different locking device, big black tabs over the metal pins so you don't bust a thumb trying to set it up. real nice.

I bought my since departed EZ up from the Wally world on rte 53 and Butterfield. Technically, it wasn't an EZup but rather a 'first up.' Thing lasted all of 3 weekends.

A couple pointers for canopies...

1. You get what you pay for. The EZ-UP brand canopies are much beefier than Quick Shade.

2. If you want it to last more than a season, always get another person to help put it up/tear it down. I used to put mine up by myself using brute force and it got loose and wiggly in a short time.

3. ALWAYS ALWAYS tie them down! Gas jugs, bike stands, old tires, and coolers all make good weights and are already with you. The first time one blows away and hits some guy's Yukon, you'll be wondering how you could be so stupid.

4. Buy it bigger than you think you need. Nothing worse than having a 5 foot area of shade when the sun gets at an angle in the afternoon.

5. Never buy one of those 18 piece PVC jobs that take 40 minutes to assemble. When you have to take it down in a pouring rain, you'll wish you weren't such a cheap SOB.

6. If you get it wet, make sure to dry it out at home. I just set mine up in the driveway. Helps keep the inside of the legs from rusting, which can lead to premature shitcanning.

Great find!! Most rep worthy

Next time I'm up there, I think I'll pick up a new EZ-UP. The nearest Sports Authority to Bloomington is 170 miles away

You wouldn't happen to have something similiar for Dick's Sporting goods, wouldya????

Is it sturdy enough to hang leathers on the frame without bending or breaking?
