Bridgestone Support?

Anybody run or know of Bridgestone trackside support for CCS @ Blackhawk? I want to score some slicks for the FZR once the season begins and I'd rather just take my wheel to the track and have 'em done rather than mail ordering and hunting someplace down to mount them.

OMG - I did an eBay transaction with the Bridgestone guy a couple months ago... lemme look around and see if I can't get his info for you.

Would that be:

Brummels Racing Products
Jason?
or
Performance Tire Service Company?

I'm drawin' a total blank. Was more than a month ago so I can't get it from my eBay history... my PayPal history is inconclusive...

I know he lives in Iowa. I bought YSR parts from him. ARRGH!

Sorry I'm so "helpful".

Well I don't recall ever seeing a Bridgestone guy at BHF on CCS weekends... unless the Dunlop guy also does Bridgestones?

Tom Mason is the guy for Michelin/Pirelli. I think RTS is the guy for Dunlop...

RTS is Dunlop... Jim, I think you're psychic - thanks for answering my next question! Now, do you know how I can get a hold of him?

I can't recall seeing a third tire vendor at the track either... but then again, I wouldn't be looking for one either. The guy from whom I bought my spare swingarm told me he was the Bridgestone guy.

Uhhhhh.... I think RTS's website is www.racetireservice.com or something to that effect.

I know there isn't a 3rd vendor at BHF.

There may have been one at RA for the FUSA weekend tho.

Thanks for all the help, the problem is the 18" rear on the little fizzer. I've always run Pirelli DOTs because of it but I know that B-Stone make an 18" slick then you run a 125 2-smoke rear on the front. Oh well, I'm not racing just track days so I guess it doesn't matter too much, though I'd like to run the slicks.

Well, just a thought... but you might have a hard time with the slicks, getting them up to operating temperature. I don't know how fast you ride, so I can't really say whether you'll have a problem or not.

Slicks are a neat idea, and cool looking... but might not be worth the hassle of finding a set unless you're fast enough to really use them.

I found thie Guy! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna run slicks, I used to cook my DOT on the 400, I've always been too timid on the track with the ninner since it's a street bike and all,(sooo much plastic), so I want resurrect the little bike for track days. The slicks are pricey though, $180.00 for a rear and $130.00 for a front, still better than buns for the niner.
