Is registering with NESBA going to be worth it this year?

I mean, crap, I guess I'm going to have to anyway because I want to end up doing a couple days at Blackhawk and Autobahn that are coming up.

I guess what I'm asking is, what other orgs should I be looking at for track riding days coming up in the Chicagoland area?

Also, I guess because every org requires that you are a member to do track days, which org would you choose if you could only ride with one?

Tough call. NESBA kicks ass, but there's another group that seems to do more local stuff and has a track day format I love. OTOH, NESBA kicks ass.
NESBA offers a lot of perks that would make it the frontrunner.

+1 there

Some other orgs charge for the whole season - but it you join late enough, I think they cut you a break.

Your probably need to look at ALL the local orgs and ALL their track days. Then see if you can focus your schedule around just one of them.

I prefer NESBA

I have, and I can't... I really kind of want to do NESBA Autobahn N though, so if you say the membership will be good next year also that is a plus.

I struggled with this a couple months ago, I just bit the bullet and did it. I'll probably do a few more days this season (I'm swamped through July). I'll also try and make one of the inevitable winter trips down south/west/anywhere but here.

I registered with NESBA in Sept or Oct last year. It is a membership for a year, it doesn't matter when you purchase it, you are gonna get 12 months of bliss out of it whether you purchase it at the beginning of the year, mid-year, or the end of the year!

Heck yeah, get it, and come out on the track with us! Autobahn and Blackhawk are close, and we have a rockin' good time at them both day and night.

NESBA rocks, just won a RRW Air Fence benefit auction for $345 for 2 track days of my choosing and an extra year of membership, plus they matched my contribution! So... who's up for the Miller Motorsports Park trip?
