Pretty cool in Google Earth

If you've got Google Earth installed, open it up.

Be sure the Terrain layer is turned on.

Go to 3635'2.01"N, 12145'11.97"W (or click here).

Tilt down so you can see the lay of the land.

Not bad, huh?

Of course, if you want to stay local, you can always visit good old 3934'59.72"N, 8644'42.13"W, but the terrain's not as interesting, nor the photos quite as impressive.

Gee, KML files don't like to be linked. Who knew?

Right-click, Save to the desktop, then double click it to open. Or just copy and paste the coordinates into the "Go to" field and it'll figure it out.

Damn straight.

Just go take a look at it, though, if you can. It is really quite good.

Check out the trail left in the pea gravel at the entrance of the corkscrew. Looks to be from a car, but still very cool.
