Pirelli support rocks!

Just increased their contingency to pay back to 5th place in all classes! I got a 4th place finish and got my certificate already, after only 2 days... and I wasn't even listed as a Pirelli rider since I switched to Supercorsa Pro's on Sunday and was still listed as a Michelin rider that day! Plus the Pirelli support guys are awesome and do a superb job. OK, I'm going to go away now, I'm just excited about getting my first contingency payout

No way man, they only pay back to 3rd... I'd never get any paid! Plus can't beat the sale for the $510 for 2 sets of Supercorsa Pros that I got

that's still more than 2 sets of slidestone slicks for me and you bought it on that Pirelli special buy 1 front and 2 rears and get a front free shit right?
What does Pirelli pay for 5th? $2?

Slidestone pays $200, $150, $100

Yeah that July promotion thing, buy 3 get 1 free deal. The pay isn't too bad for Am's I think the payout is 1st-$80, 2nd-$60, 3rd-$50, 4th-$40, 5th-$30.

You pay less than $250 a set for slicks? Hell, if I start getting 3rd place or better finishes more often I might look into that, that's a pretty good price for race slicks

only till end of July though...

Yeah, it's great with the smaller classes, I got a 4th in Supertwins and was only running 23's with a couple of 26's at the end when I was sliding around and taking it easy. Woulda been 3rd if I just kept up with the 23s.. I think everyone was just having a crap weekend that time though, oh and Supertwin racers are slow!

Hey my teamate was in supertwins.

I need a SV. Actually, I can't wait to get new softer tires mounted and maybe one or two other surprises added to my bike. My goal in my next races is to finish in the top ten the rest of the season.

And I think I might be jumping ship with the Rev. Yeah, they may have increased their contingency and have a small deal going on but cheaper tires to begin with sounds better to me as long as they can grip as well or better.

What was his name, Todd Erickson right? Am 251? I talked to him after the race, cool guy, and he ain't bad, I was trying hard to get around him last time at Blackhawk and just couldn't make my passes stick (stupid RC51 power... )

yep, that's him, very cool guy and very helpful too. I want to trade bikes with him sometime and see what it's like to have a size advantage over other bikes. For all the corners I see RC's parked in I'm wondering if it's the bikes or the riders.
