Alternate Routes to Putnam

Whats the best way to go to Putnam. 57 takes you too far West, 65 takes too far east into Indy. Which way do you guys take?

The few times I have been there I have always taken 65 and gotten off at the Lebanon exit.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

41 south to I74 east to 231 south takes you rite to the race track. I'm going to try that this time. 20 less miles than taking 65

I guess.

Should I stay home and do yard work, put a barrier around my front garden and put lava rock in there, trim my bushes and mow the lawn and paint my front gutter?

NAH!!!!!

I'll go to the fuckin racetrack!

I have taken 65 to 231. It was OK but just make sure you take 231 after Lafayette, not before, there are two exits. If you take the first one you will have to go through the college town (Purdue?) and I got a little lost there because the streets get weird around the school. It takes about the same amount of time as going through Indy, cause you have to go slower, but the mileage is less and traffic is a lot less.

I65 to Rt. 231 is a nice route, but getting to 65 sucks worse than a John Holmes anal raping. That fugging toll booth at the 80/294 intersection is good for 25 minutes alone.

57 to 74 is the stress-free route.

hey what about hotel recommendations??? we'll be down there on the 6th (staying the 5th) as well and there's some 400 shit going on so all the hotels are booked unless you want to pay over $200 for a room at the super 8 hotel

So far I reserved a room in Bloomington for $66, just wish there was somehting closer that's available
