Sete's 130 MPH getoff - watch the video

Watch this video of Sete's 130 MPH cockup. Includes several angles plus some on board footege. He really takes a beating.

Dayum!! That looks like it hurt.

Just keep those arms in and ride it out. Looks like he's crashed a few times to learn that one.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I remember watching that one over and over after the race. That's what a handful of front brake will do on a MotoGP bike. Flip it right the [email protected]#$ over!

Well, he would have been fine if Capirossi hadnt ran into his brake lever. I wouldnt blame Sete for the accident, more Capirossi than anything. I mean geez, the guy takes out his own teammate trying to set up for turn one, then after he hits Sete, he cuts way back over to the inside and hits one of the Team Fortuna guys, causing a chain reaction of 3 riders sliding across the pavement taking 4 other guys off the track with them.

But as the saying goes, "rubbin' is racin'."

I respectfully disagree. I think Sete caused that wreck.

+1

If you watch closely it's Sete that is wandering more than Loris, but I think they both spaced out a bit and drifted towards each other. And Loris didn't 'cut back across', he was trying to keep the bike on its wheels after their get-together.
