Gate Fee clarification from AUTOBAHN

Here is the word directly from the staff at AUTOBAHN hope this helps

John

I will try to answer your questions.

Autobahn Country Club has a gate fee of $5.00 per person 12 and under is free. Camping is a flat fee of $30.00 for the weekend per camper unit. Sometimes there will not be a gate fee due to the club renting the track picks up the fee and pays it directly to us. So each event will vary from club to club. There is always the 5.00 gate fee it just depends on how the club renting the track would like to pay for it. I hope this answered your questions. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me @ 815-722-2223

Thanks

Mrs. Harrington,

Please clear up the miscommunication for events like these at your facility.

What is the fee if any for participants / spectators for these type events.

Participant for Track Day or Race (NESBA etc.) Spectator for Track Day or Race (Non member)

Entry $ $
Camping $ $

Huge discussion on several boards online and many different opinions. Please clarify, and allow me to copy and paste your response & clarification

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

nice effort, but still doesn't say whether spectators pay the fee or not. it sounds like they don't, but it's not directly stated

I think what she is saying is that they do not differentiate spectators or participants. Everyone that enters gets charged $5. The difference is whether Nesba agrees to pay the tally after the fact (which I believe they will) or the individual pays at the gate.

I will have $5 ready just in case.

I believe Nesba WILL cover this gate fee. There was some confusion last time when riders and spectators paid the $5, however I believe Nesba corrected the situation.

A-Bahn is a fun track to ride, but not really designed to be spectator-friendly.

I guess $50,000 membership fees isn't raking in enough $$$ for them
