CCS BHF Wegman Weekend 9/23-9/24

ALRIGHT!!! I'm all signed up, preregistered and ready to go! This will be my first race weekend of this year, and last actually unless I shit out a grand to make the trip down to Daytona Race of Champions, which I highly doubt. Thanks to Nickif for buying some parts off me to make this happen. I'm hoping for a good turn out and good weather. If the weather is crappy so be it I'll race anyway.

I'm signed up for Thunderbike, GTL, LWGP, and LWSB. See you guys out there. I'm #440.

Isn't it expensive to just race one weekend a year as the license expires in December or am I missing something about it being cheaper to renew?

I'll be there racing GTO, GTU, MWSS, and HWSS. Good luck and maybe I'll run into you sometime.

YUP! And I'm not going to drop this envolope in the mail until Monday so it doesn't get there until next Friday.

Oh, and I just saw that Gingerman is in October. I'll go to that too, come out and rain on some peoples parade who are chasing championship points.

Are you preregistered Jon? I am going to ride BHF the 9th and 10th to make sure I'm all sharp for Blackhawk.

Just make sure you don't get your ass whooped by my boy Chris Quillman. He won amateur LWGP starting from hotpit last week and has won every LWGP he's entered this year by a long distance and I'm afraid 17's won't beat him.

Thanks Brian, I'll take a note of that.

I haven't raced at all this year but whats up with only 5 lap sprints at Gingerman? Are they doing the same thing at Blackhawk?

I haven't registered for Blackhawk yet, just Autobahn... I usually try not to pre-register for anything until I make sure that I don't crash the race weekend prior

And that Chris guy on the #373 250cc bike is fast! Good thing he can only run LWGP with us

5 lap sprints? That seems really short... Blackhawk is 8 laps, except for that time they cut us down to 7 laps cuz of the ASRA Endurance race. Autobahn South will be 7 laps, and is about 15 seconds longer per lap than Blackhawk.

You're gonna need more than a grand for CCS Daytona! We've spent over $2300 for the CCS Road America weekend! Three sets of tires, fuel, hotel (WAAAAY too cold to camp) and cocktails for just one pilot.

Yes indeed Meghan started on 125's and moved up to 250's and then to the R6. If any of you read the cribs article on Blake Young in the new RRW, she's the girl he mentions about getting beat by a girl with little kisses painted all over her bike.

My wife read that, laughed then immediately told me about it.

Just remember you got to register it with the track unless its a street registered vehicle with current tags.

Just over a week to go now. I'm in the process of fixing and preparing my recently crashed bike and siking myself up. Everytime I think about racing my heart rate rises. My heart will be beating out of my chest come 2nd call and once I get on the track and go around for the warm up lap I'll be as relaxed and ready to go as black belt.

Nick sign up for 4 races LWSS, LWSB, LWGP, and supertwins. I have not looked at teh schedule but those are the four I raced every Sunday. You will be very competitve in all classes trust me. You will be kicking yourself for not signing up for all 4 on Sunday.

I'll be there spectating and paying for a license so I don't have to take the school again. Might bring the bike along so Ed can work on the forks. My front suspension is going on 3 years without an oil change It almost feels like stock.

Now, don't go trying to change my mind getting me to race. I've done ONE trackday there this year, no way I'd be even close to competitive. I'd rather spend that money on liquor and strippers.
