SV guys- CCS wegman weekend

What classes are you running? I just got my confirmation for LCR on the 23rd. The 24th I'll be doing lightweight GP, superbike, and super sport.

How do we get a bike number with CCS? Will it be assigned that morning? I'm going to either have to get my license saturday after the clinic or sunday morning.

Bike number gets 'assigned' during your licensing. What I did is bring three numbers (1,2,4) and then put in my first, second, third choices for the order of them. You do get a choice, but three digit numbers are most likely to be open. Maybe you can contact CCS to verify the number of choice is available?

Oh, and I'm not running this year. I'll probably bring the bike to get some work on it and new tires, but that's it. I thought your bike had non-OE forks? You can also run Supertwins, but that race is usually held last on Sunday, lots of people want to get going by then.

Last year I ran 5 races a weekend. Keep in mind my bike was supersport.

GT Lights and Thunderbike on Saturday
LW Supersport, Superbike and GP on Sunday

If you want you can enter Supertwins. Its fun to beat up on RC's and bigger bikes, but its not all that competitive and there is usually not a lot of bikes in it. Other than those classes you can get into the 600 classes. You get smoked down the straight but you'll pick them off in the turns. Its a constant challenge, just hope you don't get ass packed.

stock forks and DOT tires for now. I'll be putting on the inverted forks and slicks over winter.

Thanks guys, one more question... Does LCR take up the whole day on saturday or would I still be able to race then?

I beleive it takes pretty much the whole day. You can't register for any races till you have your license. You don't have your license until you pass w/o crashing and registration closes at 9am so your SOL for racing Saturday.

The LCR thing is all day. I'll be running Formula 40 lw, gt light and possibly Thunder on Sat. If I race Sunday it will just be SS. My bike isn't modified and I don't have slicks.
