I'm flattered guys. Thanks!

I'll do the best I can with my bad grammer and typing skills. Really tired now.

I ended up setting up my street bike in race trim Thursday night. I decided I'd have a rain bike and a dry bike.... with 2 SV's in the garage. I put the rain tires on the street SV that has dirtbike bars and kept the actual race bike with the DOTs on it for the dry. It was sketchy Saturday with rain on and off. It was borderline to use rain tires or DOT's so it was hard to decide. I ended up practicing in the morning with the race bike with DOT tires slipping and slidding everywhere. I didn't want to burn up my rains on half wet pavement.

So lunch came and went and the track was officially declared wet. Not practicing on the rain bike kind of worried me for a minute but I rode it anyway in Thunderbike. I ended up with a first place and finishing i'm pretty sure 4th over all. GTL was the next race I ran on Saturday and I was praying for more rain. Let me take a moment out to tell you that in a racing situation it either needs to be fully wet (to use rain tires) or fully dry to use DOT's or slicks (ideally). Anything inbetween (semi wet pavement) is too slippery for DOT tires or not wet enough for a soft rain tires and they will burn up. So my prayer came true to the race gods and it was wetter than a slut on prom night on the race track. I got the hole shot and never looked back. Half way through the race I was pulling on a fellow with a yellow helmet that has more championships under his belt than should be humanly allowed. I passed him and kept riding consistantly and ended up finishing first over all the experts in the field and I came from the second wave as an amatuer. Something that will probably never happen again in my life time.

I'll type about Sunday and some more later. I need some sleep. I've been running on adrenaline since Friday night.

Congrats. It was fun. I drank beer. A LOT of beer that weekend.

I want a CRF150R pretty bad. Random thoughts, and I'm at work.

Slightly , but how much did the Wegman auction bring in this year?
