What are some good websites for Spidi gear? I went on Spidi's website looking for some boots, and all they have on their for ladies are some stupid shoe looking boots.

Those XP5 kangaroo's are

Why can't girls have as good as a selection for track gear like guys?!?!

EDIT - Websites that are in english please

That is actually the one piece I am purchasing. Their boots just suck, so I guess I'll stick to the astars boots, I'm just a little weird with everything matching, but oh well! Thanks!

Nice choice of suits. Are you gonna get out to the track this season?

Try Sidi boots as well.

The only sidi boots I could find for ladies were some stupid boot/shoe thing that was low cut. They were dumb, and not even really boots. I was really disappointed with their ladies selection, but maybe I just haven't found the right place?? Probably not this season, money is tight right now, but for sure next season. I'll get everything ready to go this winter!!

EDIT - Just realized you said Sidi and not Spidi Yes, I have looked at sidi boots, I like them too, they are on my consider list

Have you tried on some regular Sidi boots? Might fit ya, you never know. I think I have seen Sidi boots on some of the ladies.

Call Newenough.com. They were great in helping me pick a boot that fit. They were great when I needed to do a return as well. No BS restocking fees or crap. A great online retailer.

I'm clueless What's the difference between a race boot and a woman's race boot I know Anna had Prexport boots for the track, I bought the same boot for just general riding. Maybe expand your search beyond Sidi. I have also been impressed by Oxtar quality and comfort.

I totally agree they are like shoes, they look like something you would wear to a construction site, NOT riding gear! I will also be doing the equipment stock up thing this winter. I am still planning on coming out to observe a track day. I didn't come this past Saturday due to the weather conditions but I will be coming. Please let me know what suit you get and how you like the fit.

Well I'm not sure how big of a difference there is between a mens boot and ladies boot. I wear a boys size 5. I haven't found any boots to go that small. I had to get fox kids boots for the dirt

Oh yeah, I have expanded my search outside of Spidi. I might end up just getting the astars stella mx-4 boots. Like I said in a previous post I'm weird about matching my gear all together....That's when I started looking at Spidi boots, and was disappointed in their ladie's selection except for their one piece suit.

Just for clarification in this thread, Spidi and Sidi are too different companies!! I see lots of confusion here.

KJ - I would look into SIDI boots (specifically the Vertigo and Vertibra - if there are any left) if I were you. I've known them to fit a couple girls very well - a close friend (female) swears by her vertibras.

SIDI boots cater towards a narrower, more slender foot profile that I normally associate with women. In addition, the SIDIs are a more elegant design with an emphasis is put on mobility. They're not lacking protection from my experience, just that the boot is thoughtfully constructed in a manner that there is no excess.

Astars generally cater to a bigger, wider, fater foot. In addition, they seem to be over engineered. To me they felt more like a ski boot than a road race boot. They are certialy not lacking any protection, but they're larger and bulkier than the SIDIs... not as well thought out. Kinda like a broadsword vs. a cutlass.

I've owned a couple other sets of boots (AGV and Joe Rocket)... From my experience, don't bother with anything but either the SIDI or Astars.
