Another Race Track

I heard a rumor another race track is going up in Illinois. Supposed to be near Effingham. Not too sure, could be bullshit, anyone hear about this?

From what I gathered it's supposed to be another club like AB and they are there's going to be a museum too like Barber.

Pretty crazy how many race tracks we can drive to within a 4 hour max time around the Chicagoland area. I wouldn't be afraid to say we have the most tracks in our immediate area than anyone in the world.

This is the same track that was proposed back in 2002 just off of I-74 close to Brimfield, just between Peoria and Galesburg. Since then the guy or one of the guys who owns a huge Corvette after market parts accessory mail order business located close to Effingham has picked up the cause. Wait and see.

That must be Mid America if I recall right. They specialize in Corvette parts. They're located in Effingham. When we drive down that direction, my girlfriend hits me when I say "Fuc*ingham."

Thats what it really is...... Right?

Right now I'd settle for decent run-off and smooth pavement.

from LA to Vegas IS 4.5 hours. You could make up the .5 by living .5 east of LA, and it would be cheaper than Downtown LA...

Plus, there are nice twisty streets out there. He's right: you don't have to go to the track to find twisty roads.
