MotoGP qualifying

Rossi on pole
Bayliss
Capirossi
Nakano
Hayden
Pedrosa

Hayden had the fastest lap through the first 3 sections of his final lap but something happened in the final section. The commentator said someone may have gotten in his way. At one point Hayden was shown shaking his fist at another rider.

Doesn't look like he is making any friends - first his teammate crashes into him, now people are cutting him off.

Hayden is either gonna ride like he stole it or choke bigtime. he is waaaay stressed and it is getting to him. He needs to relax. Oh and pedrosa needs to suck a dick. hey maybe the two of them can work something out

Wow! I'm really surprised Bayliss qualified 2nd. That's awesome!
If it wasn't for Hayden, I'd be pullin for Bayliss (and Capi) all the way.

Hayden has been very fast on race tires so it is going to be a matter of picking up places at the start but that is easier said than done. He definitely seems like he is giving it everything he's got. Maybe being a little pissed off will help him in the long run. The me against them attitude might do him well next year. Bottom line is, I believe this year has put him in the position where someone will always want him and he will have a GP ride for as long as he wants it.

A lot more riders in the 1:31s then I thought. All on Qs I am sure. Lap times will be a bit higher on race rubber. Tough start for Hayden off the front row. But he is gone ride like mad to get up front. Looks like Puig told Dani not to help.

Nicky's not gonna need anyone to let him by, he's gonna slam his way to the front. Its VERY possible someone (Elias) BLOCKED Nicky's final lap. He was fastest through the first 3 sections and was seen shaking his fist at another rider. Trying to confirm this.

The only other thing I have to say is BAYLISS ON THE FRONT ROW!!

I bet him and Loris are inspiring each other and racing for bragging rights. If Bayliss podiums or wins this race it will be a huge vidication for him. That is, if he hasn't shown his awesome skills to everyone's satisfaction already.

QP ANALYSIS

Just checked out the QP analysis and it seems that the only people able to dip into the 132's on RACE tyres are Rossi, Capirossi, Bayliss, Hayden, Stoner and Edwards. Pedrosa was in the very low 133's so you never know what he'll pull out. Edwards looks like he did the most laps on race tyres of anybody and set some damn fast consistent times..

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

Get back on topic people!

Bayliss could win this race. I am still counting on hayden, roberts, rossi. But I might trade roberts for bayliss.

It was Alex Hofmann who spoiled Nicky's final Q lap.

Btw, Nicky was presented with a new bmw for being the best qualifier of the year.

From Ryder Notes:

On a happier note, Nicky picked up his BMW Z4M Coupe for overall best qualifying of the year (17 qualifying hours plus the IRTA test at Barcelona) from none other than Michael Jordan.

Earl Hayden immediately put a 2nd Chance Auto Sales plate on it.

AND

Nicky isn't ducking any issues. The old 'Kentucky Kid' logo on the back of his leathers is gone, replaced by a hand of cards and a pile of poker chips. The final card hasn't been turned over and has a question mark on its back; the slogan is 'All In.'

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.
