2007 CCS Tentative Schedule

5 Fucking Blackhawk dates???? Suck a donky dick!!! No Gingerman, no Autobahn????

The only good part is Road America in the summer time and Gateway. I've never raced Gateway.

I'm going over to WERA so I can race Grattan and Gingerman.

Welcome to CCS midwest.

Yup, WERA rocks!

Not so much better talent. . . just more of 'em! Good luck and prepare. Wish I had the cash and time to do WERA.

Gateway sucks Nick you won't miss anything if you skip it. I heard a couple of months ago that there where only three motorcycle groups that will be at Autobaun. I know Stt will be one of them since Monte is and actual member there. Gingerman and Grattan will be the races I will hit this year with WERA also.

I guess if you master BHF your good for the season.

CCS Blackhawk Farms Region is the new name.

Why would anyone want to race Gingerman?

Care to post this schedule somewhere? Last year had 5 BHF dates, didn't it? Gingerman was traditionally not well attended in CCS land, at least the two race weekends I went there. Was somebody pushing hard to go to Gateway..some St. Louis area riders?

Dude Gingerman kicks ass, so does Grattan. What? Are you afraid of the lines in the corners? Are you afraid of the bumps?

Every CCS region has a "home track" that is used more than the others in the region. LRRS however, uses the SAME TRACK ALL SEASON.

More than likely theres a few more tracks yet to have the final details worked out, hence the no ACC and Gingerman listed yet. Tentative means its not FINALIZED yet. I doubt you'll see gratten on it. I dont think I ever seen Gratten on a CCS MW schedule since 1999.

I agree with Steve. You wont miss anything skipping Gateway. Its not exactly a posterchild for track safety, cant set up a tent, no showers, have to listen to the drag races next door going on until 11pm-1am, track has specific time you can enter in (once you have your paddock pass though you are fine) and you are downwind sometimes from teh garbage dump across the street. Also a track worker told me you have to have a "self contained RV" to camp there (ie has a bathroom) but said a folding chair with a hole in it over a bucket counts. He said it was stupid but thats what he was told. Gateway is supposed to have taken care of the severe safety issues and thats why it wasnt on the schedule the last 2 yrs. I was there in 2003 and nearly got tossed off the bike after hitting the front straight transition wrong.

We used to use BHF 6 times a year until HPT was bought and opened back up to bikes by the owners of BHF. First races used to be the first or second weekend of april then RA at the end of april. Also they ran gingerman, gateway and putnam park (track owners there and CCS got into it about stuff and thats why we dont race there).

BTW Eric said they are still working out details and there was no plans in dropping tracks for 2007 so everyone keep your panties on.

I didn't have any issues with Grattan. The bumps don't scare me. I rode Gingerman twice this year. I lowsided the second time going over one of those damn seams. If you can't pave it right, atleast go back and fill in the gaps. Some have grass growing in them, others have crap sealer, some have dirt showing through.

It sucks to have to change your line to give yourself a chance to cross those dumb things. I was taking photos one day, and you can hear tires chirp as they skip over those seams.

Maybe they need to charge an extra 50 cents for beer at the Gingerman bar so they can fix the track surface. I like the layout though.

Yep Louden Road Racing Series does (one of CCS's affiliates). WSMC does also.

Gateway's not so bad... takes two minutes to get to the truck stop across the way for a hot, clean shower. We arrived around 11 and had no trouble getting in. Nice garages, too.

Laudon, Willow Springs, and Miller all have thier own series, right?

Just racing BHF would definitely help the travel budget.

As it is, I'll probably just do that series and RA next year.

Is it racing season yet???

Too many issues at ACC with noise levels and Thunderbike.

Wow. That really surprises me. The top fuel dragsters that run a mile away don't get any complaints that I know of.

I cant believe that either.. All the Test and tune nights etc. I live about 5 miles away from the Nascar Track, and we can hear it all every event and no issues... The people the few that live around there, someone should have just gone and met with them and made good friends, give them access for free or take them for a ride or something to get them on the team....

Geeze, no CCS races That sucks.. Liked being able to wake up eat at Crackle Barrel and watch racing all day then go to Hooters or Champions for dinner, soon Hero's and Legends will be up and running again..

Damn, guess track days will have to do....

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
