RA endurance race would rock for a TL. Big comfy grunt. Competitive for an RC51 - but I'm not sure what the regs call for on that series. Spending a day bounching off the rev limiter on your SV? I think that might even drive you crazy(er).

Do you know how many SV's you could get for $500K?!

If I do this I'll more than likely run the middle class (GST) because the SV will for sure be above 75bhp. I hope I can keep in below 90hp as well and I may have to strap some kind of add on weight to keep it below 390 pounds after the race when we have to weigh in. And as for banging off the rev limiter, you're mistaken my friend. Gear ratio is Key. I found the perfect gearing combo for RA on my SV. I shift into 6th gear just past the start finish line and just touch below 10 grand before I get on the binders for turn 1.

We'll see, I can't seam to find race entry costs on the webiste. And they have a Pirelli Spec Tire regulation and those things are expensive compared to what I get Michelins for.

Fuck! Regulation fuel and regulation tires.

EQ 9 - FUEL AND RELATED EQUIPMENT

9-1 Official Fuel - The Official Fuel of MOTO-ST is Sunoco Race Fuels Sunoco

260GTX, 98 Octane Unleaded.

9-1.1 Official fuel must be used exactly as supplied at the race track.

9-1.2 Only air may be mixed with the fuel as an oxidant.

9-1.3 All competitors must use the official fuel, as supplied by the manufacturer at the track, during all on-track sessions. All motorcycles must prominently display the appropriate unmodified official fuel company decal on the lower front edge of doors at all times.

9-2 Grand American has the right to sample a competitor's fuel at any time.

9-3 Competitors are responsible for the safe and proper handling and security of their fuel from when it is dispensed to them until it is used.

9-3.1 Competitors are responsible for properly disposing of all unused fuel.

Looks like 2-3 is the requirement

15-5.2 Eligibility for Point Awards - At least two riders must ride the motorcycle under green flag conditions. All rider listings must be finalized at least two hours prior to the start of the race. Riders will be awarded points only if they hold a MOTO-ST Membership. If a rider rides a motorcycle in competition without being properly nominated, either by being listed on the entry form or through a properly completed and submitted rider change form, all point awards for all riders and the motorcycle and prize money for that motorcycle will automatically be forfeited.

...

15-5.7 Each rider must be identified on the entry form as rider 1, 2, or 3. Riders will wear a MOTO-ST provided helmet sticker for every on-track activity. Rider 1 will wear an orange sticker, rider 2 will wear a green sticker, and rider 3 will wear a yellow sticker.

Roughly 350 bucks per person is reasonable.

I need to submit the request to Slowass financing. My competition participation is limited this year due to a new home purchase.
