Same designer as the Autobahn. Lets hope they keep the cars off of this one a little longer after they complete the racing surface.

Can you say MOTO GP standards??? hhhmmmmm.......

The car guys will love that track NOT. The cars won't get out of 3 gear mostly it has way to many turns for car guys to like. Which makes it all the better for us.

That track will give you a work out for sure it has nowhere to rest and lots of right to left turns.

PHMC is located in Lake Village, Indiana, right off I-65 and Route 14. We are easily accessible from downtown Chicago (one hour), Indianapolis (two hours), and minutes from I-94/90/80. We are in close proximity to five international airports, and two local airports. A private 2500' airstrip located alongside our facility, as well as a trackside helipad, will allow members an easy commute from across the country or from around the world.

This is a pretty cool part as well...

Lodging: Prairie Hills understands the need to get a restful night's sleep. A good night's sleep makes for a safer day of driving.

To accommodate this need we have provided our members, guests, and race teams with trackside hospitality suites. Overlooking the tracks, our spacious suites will serve the needs of every team or individual. Our 20-unit facility features indoor space for 1 car and plenty of room to work. Each garage has compressed air, plenty of light and Internet connectivity. The suite upstairs contains a kitchenette and a full bathroom, as well as multi-use space.

Designed to accommodate everyone's needs, full size "Murphy" beds are stowed in the walls of the suites and are easily lowered when it's time for rest. Leaving them in their upright position allows utilization of the room's space for meetings or to use as team headquarters. Each room will include a wet bar, Internet, a flat screen television with cable services, and a shared balcony over looking the action on the track.

Dean

Yeah me either, but someone posted a link on the NESBA board and it reminded me. I hope they make it and it's a good track. It's only an hour and a half away from me and since I have good friend that live 20 minutes from there and the ex running a hotel 30 minutes form there it would be very convenient.

Yeah, Wilson isn't a favorite. Still doesn't guarantee that the civil engineering or the pavement specs are followed. Wilson has nothing to do with that.

Last I heard, they were waiting for the water to receed. We had a lot of rain last year and it never cleared. I heard something about the water table being high or the track being built below flood plain.

Even if they do build it and this is the situation, the ground will be soft. They'll pave it and it will ripple, warp and be crap.
