CCS MW/GL/GP season opener... double points weekend... Learning Curves, VisionSports, L-P Sportrider Days...

Who's coming out, and for how many days? Any stalwarts camping trackside?

What are the requirements for the school by way of prep.? Do you have to have a belly pan? Half of me is 60% conformist.

Sweet! This sounds like it's going to be fun! I might have to sleep, I mean pass out, at the track Saturday night!

Rumor has it that someone from this board is contemplating racing in the OLD FARTS class!

as for the class i dont think they specify any belly pan requirements but you wont be able to race sunday without a legal one, but hey at least you will have your license

If you take the Learning Curves school on Saturday, buy your license and want to race on Sunday, CCS tech will waive the belly pan requirement... but you will need to be appropriately safety wired, with water/water wetter in place of antifreeze. I think the requirements may be found at www.learningcurves.com

I read through the requirements.....no need for a belly pan for the school.

I'd be up for a pitbike race... Actually, they have one at the July races as part of the Wegman weekend.

yes but you'll get hit with a gate fee. Not sure what it is this season.

I might go up there if I'm not at Grattan.

There will be no Sn*w. They have run in the sn*w in the past but it will not sn*w this year!

The "little" YSRs have a top speed of 65-70 mph in stock trim. I don't know if mine is in that good a condition... it's had a hard life.

Gate fee is $15 this year. If you're coming out on Saturday, practice starts at 8 a.m., and first race is 11:30 a.m.

On Sunday, practice starts at 8:00 a.m. and first race is at 10:30.

WOOHOO... TWO DAYS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to go on Sunday. Depends on how much fun on Saturday night I have. First Saturday with the little woman in a month!

But if the weather is good I plan on driving out there. Especially if everybody else is there.

If you're racing, get there early if you aren't pre-registered. The gate, registration & tech lines were bad in the SW region earlier this year. CCS issued transponders and you end up waiting in three or four different lines.

I missed the Saturday practise sessions at SoW, waiting in the reg & tech lines.

Good luck to all.

Kim, where did you see the schedule. I looked all over the ccs site but didn't see them like last year. I want to figure out which races I'm gonna run. I can only be ther Sunday, and that's if I get the bike finished...
