BHF Trackday 6/20

BHF Event, not NESBA

I just picked up my new bike and I'm ready to try it out, the boss isn't here this morning so I'm not going to find out if I can get the day off till this afternoon. Anybody around here going?

I'm pretty sure I'm going. It's a track day put on by BHF and not another track day org. You can register at the BHF's website. The weather looks perfect, but then again you never know in Chicago. It will be nice to just ride and not have to work.

Hey Dave, are you gonna have licensing that day? I have a couple of friends that are interested.

I'm full. Been full for almost two weeks. July's the only option, or HPT on the 25th of June.

Understood. I've only got so much space. Wish I could help more.

I'd try to stay away from RA for my first race. Higher entry fees, very little practice...all adds up to an expensive weekend with no track time...LOL!

Yep, told them the same. But they ran at the NESBA days there recently and really wanted to go there to race. They may go to the Gateway licensing then.

Thanks!

Ah, there you go. Different than what we do, but it should get them on the track if they pass the tests and all.

Hey Super Dave-- In your busy school schedule will you have a chance to talk to an old student and bounce on the suspension of his new R6??? Had the 20mm kit done by Thermosman like you suggested and went with the Ohlins TTX36 rear shock with ride height adjustment. Just needs a little more fine tuning to get the setup right, but it's close.
