Carbone Lorraine brake pads?

Not familiar with them, but see them on sportbiketrackgear.com Anyone ever run them? Is it worth it to run their more expensive racing pads (C44) vs the street version (SBK3) on my R6? They also have the Vesrah racing pads.

If it is a track bike yes the C44 is best. It takes the heat better. The SBK's work the same just at a much lower heat range they will fade if you get them real hot.

I personally have not tried the Carbone's.

But I have tried the stock Suzuki pads, several flavors of the EBC pads, and the VESRAH RJL and SRJL pads.

Both the Vesrah pads have a nice initial bite that is not too harsh, this is what I really like about them. Of course they grip like all hell when you grab a handful, which is nice as well.

I'm guessing that the RJL are more my flavor and that at the speeds and times I'm riding I wouldn't really need the SRJL?

What Wink told me in a previous thread is that the main diffrence between the RJL and SRJL is that the SRJL pads cost twice as much and last twice as long.

I have the RJL pads and love them. The initial bite is smooth, yet responsive. Then once I settle the chassis I can squeeze a lot of lever and the bike slows down in a hurry.

^^^^

That is correct. I can't tell the difference personally, I like them both. The SRJL do last longer, not sure if it is twice as long though. I'd buy the RJL's if they have them and then the SRJL if they are out of RJL.

Go what you know will work well. Just my opinion.

Yes, they will make you rocket fast Biggy.

They are all good pads and you won't be able to tell the difference.

I'll be there. Gridded right behind you two. 50$ I pass you both on pit lane going into 1.

But really I need some CRing so I can get faster at RA!

NESBA - Seems to be missing, can someone direct me where to find it?

This will be fun. I think we should set up a side bet at how far into the gravel Ron will end up in turn one and or Canada corner. I am thinking 25 yards in turn one and about 20 feet in Canada Corner that gravel is way deep. We may even lose him completely in that gravel trap.

Chris I think we should give Ron the old R6 sandwich pass on the brakes then we can both give him the bird.
