Can this be fixed?

Broken valve trying to go back up the hole again.

Was an expensive one and a half sessions at Gingerman yesterday morning.

you should be able to save the jug if the scouring isn`t too bad

but i can`t say about the head, might be junk.

Operating a motorcycle. So easy, even a caveman can do it. Knowing how to ride? Priceless.

Funny thing the cylinder walls are ok just need piston and a head.

well pistons aren`t too pricey. not sure if the dome can be saved, but if you stretched out the area where the valve seat mounts, you may end up doing bigger valves to save it.

No, that is fixable.

Not sure what the cost around here would be, but I have fixed a LOT worse than that.

Might be cheaper than getting a new head or motor.

I don't know why you would even try to fix it when those stock heads are everywhere and dirt cheap.

Yeah, hopefully it may just be a new inlet seat, valve and valve guide. May be able to touch up all the pitting.

I'm not going to bother with it, it is faster to pull a whole new/used lump in then fix. At least that is what I'm shopping for.

The bike had about 4K when I get it. I myself may have put about 1000 in the 1 1/2 I've owned it for a total of about 5K.

I have a new used motor coming for it and should be at my work on Monday. Hope to have it fired Tuesday after work in order to make BHF Saturday / Sunday.
