It's alive

I picked up the new used motor yesterday after work. Got home cleaned it up and installed it. Would of had it running last night but I was one spark plug short (something to do with a broken valve).
Well today the wife stops to get plugs (shop only had two, I'll reuse two), oil and oil filter. I got home and start playing with it some more. Add oil, add gas tank and it fired right up. Note with no exhaust hooked up but it runs.

Now it's just a matter of finish hooking things up like air box and such, safety wire and what not. Then go over every nut and bolt one more time to make sure they are to spec. Then adjust controls to my liking.

This one is for Mike, pick up all the sockets before riding.

BHF here we come.

Jon if you need anything else let me know. I also carry a spare set of plugs in the tool box at the track if there are any issues. Make sure you test drive it to make sure the trans/clutch is in order. I have spare clutch plates and frictions also.

O Really?

It's a good thing I don't have a garage to work in...otherwise I'd be buying out the local snap-on tool truck. I enjoy working on the SV...just not in the parking lot of an apartment with minimum tools.
