Who's going and what classes are ya racing??

I'm signed up for GTO, HWSS, HWSB, and Unlimited GP.

I got my forks rebuilt and gold valved so I'm looking forward to shaking them down. I should be there for the Friday practice too.

I'm in! This is my first race weekend. I'm getting my feet wet so I'm trying as many races as I could afford. I'm signed up for MWGP, GTU, MWSS, UnlimitedGP, and MWSB. I should be getting there Friday afternoon.

Thanks Dean. The bike's not not completely put back together, but I think I should be able to finish it up by the end of the week.

We'll be there. X gets to race a 125 this weekend. We already need a new trailer to carry 3 bikes next season, I wonder if we're going to end up needing room for 4. Might have to pick up a winter part time job.

Anyway. I'll be doing my usual thing, getting last place in ULWSB.

yessirs!

I thought I'd go into this race not thinking so much about trying to beat people, and maybe that would help me relax. Everytime the pack pulls away from me I give up, not that I'm giving up from the start, just lowering expectations. Besides, I usually beat the people who crash.

Anyone going to be there Friday for practice??? I was planning on being here bright and early, but other things have come up and I won't get there until 11-12ish. I was hoping someone could save me my usual spot over by T4 so I can get a power hookup instead of running my generator

it is a good generator, but why use it if I don't have to? $20 all weekend for the hookup, and I don't have to pay for gas, worry about starting/stopping the generator, and have less noise.

Not a good site. I have seen it a couple times. It brings a chill to the air. The worse felling is when they shut the track down and police show up. Then you know it was a bad day.

yeah, everything was pretty chilled afterward, especially since the chatter indicated it wasn't looking good. I'm hoping it was only misinformed chatter.

Honestly, this was the worst trackday/practice I've ever been to. There were people out there in the amateur group that many B riders would've easily smoked, and it the speed differential made it downright unsafe. I'm not the fastest guy in the world and I'm the first to admit it, (but I am staying at a Holiday Inn Express) but its not safe having people that run 1:15's on the same track as UNPREDICTABLE no-track experience riders running 1:40's and :50's, one guy was draggin his CENTERSTAND all over throwing sparks because his ass is glued to the seat

Gotta love CCS promotor practice. Is the practice through CCS or like they did back in the day sponsored by LP.??

I think its through BHF, but the CCS guys actually run it. I've been to these all season, it has never been like this. I think its just an end of season influx of people who did LCR or whatever just to get an LED-type trackday for $90, because there were 3-4 bikes that were obviously NOT race bikes. No prep whatsoever, as the centerstand retard demonstrated.

I have seen better track days too. I jumped a few times working Corner 7.
We should have had 3 groups.
