Season's ending...how much left for you?

I've got a race at Blackhawk this weekend.

I'm finally going to the Suzuki Cup Final if my invitation arrives. Been invited a few times in 18 years, but I have it in my plan this year.

And I've got a school at Blackhawk and one more at Heartland Park Topeka, probably on the new layout that might be the one that the AMA uses if they secure the date there for 2008.

What's everyone got left for 2007?

none

I ended mine a week ago with a surgery to fix a non union of a collar bone.
I rode 2 weekends with it broken and decided that after NESBA @ Barber it was time to fix it. I am doing a little PT and hope to go for a nice sport touring ride yet this fall. Other than that, it is time to refresh the 250 and start prepping the Mille for next season.

Maybe I'll swing by BHF to watch the NESBA riders dominate their classes

I'm done road racing and doing track days for this year. I crashed my bike pretty good about 3 weeks ago in GTL, in 2nd place, chasing Paul James in the rain at BHF. Guy Bartz was rite behind me and thought to himself that I was going too fast through the exit of 6. He said rite when he thought that I was on my ass. I was rolling on 4th gear so I was going at a good clip. The front washed out and the bike took a couple tumbles. Not a bump or scratch on me, only the bike.

With travel for work, money and other circumstances I won't be able to start piecing my bike together for another month or so.

So I resort to riding dirt bikes and sport touring. 2 wheels is 2 wheels.

Race next weekend and then hopefully some trackdays, supermoto practice and dirt riding. Maybe a trip down to Jennings in November, and then some ice riding over the winter, kinda want to find some indoor flattrack events too....I usually just make it up as I go.

Last races at BHF, then maybe doing the last BHF trackday (deciding that today), Gingerman at the very end of the month, and then there's some sort of race shootout something or other that we might head out to MAM for, though I wouldn't be riding. There's been some talk of going to Barber as well.

Honestly I'm kind of done with riding for the season. I'm out of cash and am itching to clean out the basement to make room to tear the bike apart. Got it right before the first event this year and haven't had the time to really pull her apart and go through her. I trust the guy that built the bike, but she is nearly 20 years old.

Took the street bikes out last night to go to the regular Two Wheel Tuesday hangout, and realized I don't much miss riding on the street.

I'm racing this weekend also. After that I'm trying to see if I can make HPT with NESBA the 22nd-23rd of this month. I'm also planning on doing some racing next month in the Great Plaines region at MAM. I also might do the 3-day Barber NESBA event, but that's still up in the air. It sux that the season is winding down

No racing for me, but the season never ends , unless you count the 2 snow weeks we may get in Jan, then I will mark that as the end of the season. I love this cool weather. You can try on as much gear as you want without burning up , the best of both worlds .

BHF motorcycle day 9/26 then Putnam in October with NESBA and that will just about do it. I think I'll end up with 26 full track days this season and only 1/2 day of rain in the whole bunch!

Street rides whenever the urge strikes and maybe one small overnight to see the colors up North.

Great season, learned a ton.
